Good breakfast spot

We are early risers, so we were there fairly early on a Saturday. We waited about 10 mins for a table, we ate outside in the garden and it was very nice. By the time we left the line was out the door, people waiting on the street etc.

If possible, try to sit outside, although some tables are too sunny. But the setting is wonderful, in a well-tended garden with a view out to the lake. Breakfast is fairly typical fare, but nicely served; the staff are quite friendly. All in all, the atmosphere is highly recommended!

If you want to eat here you have to have cash, and you have to get there early or you'll be waiting. You'll be rewarded with a high quality breakfast. Their pancakes are unique and very good, a buckwheat like mix, lots of flavor.

We enjoyed the breakfast. The muffins and fresh fruit were excellent. The scrambled eggs were not up to par. I don't know if they had water or milk added but they were not very tasty? Coffee and service were really good.

I've been here at least a dozen times and I love it, the food is delicious, the pancakes are to die for, everything I've had is delicious. The negative reviews make me laugh, it's a small place and the food is homemade, you're gonna wait. The service is prompt, what more could you ask for?

We had to wait over an hour to be seated and then waited another hour to have our food delivered to the table. We bothered to ask what is a quick food since we had a couple people who needed the food fast. The waitress never checked on us and we even had to get her attention just for a... More

And we send a big UGH back at you, darling! You were at a popular restaurant on the Fourth of July weekend . . . what did you expect? Fast food? That's what Burger King is for. And as for apologizing for the service you couldn't get, but expected to receive, why should we apologize for being popular and successful?... More

We had breakfast here on Sunday- everything was great. It is a very popular place for breakfast so expect to wait for a table and then to wait some more for your order to arrive- this is unavoidable because of its popularity and you won't mind the wait because the food is terrific. The staff are very honest and very... More

Our family stopped here for a late breakfast after a friends recommendation. It was the start of a busy holiday weekend, so our wait was a bit long, but that was fine. We were seated outside, which was a nice setting. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food took a while, but that was to be expected, due to... More

Food here is beyond great!!!! 1. Get here early unless you don't mind a wait. 2. Carry cash, no credit cards accepted. 3. Don't carry any outside coffee in. 4. Order a fresh-baked muffin--you will regret it if you miss this delight!! Food is freshly prepared, FANTASTIC potatoes, eggs, French toast, and scrambles. Efficient service!!

This is my favorite place.Nice selection for breakfast to start your day.The line gets long to get in if your willing to wait. The building is small.Food is fresh and bake goods to order.I believe you can place carryout. If your on vacation or getaway pack your patience as well.Worth a try it may become a favorite of yours as well.
