Food and service great, really courteous, a real treat; décor relaxing wood panel. GO HERE if you want a relaxed quality time. Nothing overdone but everything first rate

No complaints! The service was excellent. The station playing was great! The chicken Caesar wrap and the pulled pork were tasty! Great atmosphere!

Really nice atmosphere and service. Beer on tap is great. Actual menu ok, but the overall experience is really a relaxing and fine one

This is a very quaint English Pub/Restaurant in downtown Saugatuck. We've been coming here for years and always make a point to stop in when in town. We also always order the Welsh rarebit, except for the inexcusable period of time when they took it off the menu!

Very cool looking English pub in a great little MI town. Guinness and bass ale on tap. Lots of old plates and things on the wall.

We came in for dinner. I understand it was late, and the kitchen was close to closing, but the chicken pot pie came out in a bowl with no crust. The server said they ran out of puff pastry. So he put toast on the side! It was a bowl of not very good chicken soup for $15. He should... More

We waited for drinks for 15 mins. The pot pie was soupy with very little topping. The steak on the black and blue... More

Pleasant place, nice server. BLT fine, French Dip almost too salty to eat. Not inexpensive. There ate better options in town.

I went to chequers with my family this evening and there was only 1 person working. We went there for one thing which they were out of. I ordered a 3 cheese panini which was $10 and was just a grilled cheese worth $2. My mothers Guinness was $7 and our overall bill for 3 people was $60.42 and the... More

We visited on a Monday evening when pretty much everything in town is closed. We have visited Saugatuck before and have dined other places. The place was virtually empty , however the server was nice and the food very good. We didn't have anything fancy, I had a Reuben which was delicious and my husband had blAck bean soup and... More
