A little long getting our meal but sitting on the deck with the kids drinking beer and eating great hamburgers and sweet potato fries...what could be better.

We love the bagel sandwiches here, always friendly staff, and delicious soups! We go here almost every weekend for breakfast.

Broad Street Cafe makes their own bagels and they have the best value for lattes and smoothies. Our favorite food there is the soup. A nice place to sit and read the paper. The building has charm as a remodeled fire station.

I'm a big fan of Broad Street Cafe and I am frequently a visitor whenever I'm in St. Joe. The prices are excellent with bagel and a coffee starting at $1.80. The location was conveniently downtown. Young staff was friendly and efficient. The bagels were fresh, toasty, and delicious. They definitely do NOT cheat you on the amount of cream cheese.

"Yeah, I'll have a Panera Bread in a renovated fire-house, but I'd like to substitute the Starbucks-esque atmosphere for a healthy dose of local history. Also, could you make sure that the folks putting my sandwich together are amazing and want to know exactly how I'd like it? Great. Oh, and serve everything on styrofoam. Yeah, styrofoam."

If you want to have a good bagel, then this is the place to get one. By far better than Panera's in south St. Joseph (I use to work for Panera - and Panera's aren't as good!).
