Yes, this is a great "hometown" cafe. Wonderful breakfast menu with the standard fare but check the blackboard or as your server for any local specials. Remember, you are in the heart of the fruitbelt so take advantage of the local produce they put in their specials.

The portions were quite ample and the customer service was exceptional. I felt like I had walked into my favorite hometown diner. It cost less than $20 for two of us and we walked out stuffed.

I've eaten here twice and been happy both times. Not a whole lot to say--breakfast food is pretty much the same everywhere to me! But I do like Joe's Cafe off 139 a little better because portions are bigger there.

I love to sit at one of the tables by the window. The food is typically excellent and served quickly. If you like a one of a kind breakfast/lunch place you'll like Thornton's.

Great place to eat breakfast. Better get there early, the place is not very big and fills up fast.....

Basic breakfast food selection - its a small restaurant (seats maybe 50) ... server was friendly., food was delivered fast and it was fresh & hot .... good breakfast.

First time for lunch. Great soup. Reuben sandwich too much cheese. Nice service. Warm funky easy eating.

Breakfast & lunch place. Good location. Been there 5-6 times over last half yr. Food pretty fresh although average. Seems to be sort of a local small gathering place. Owner grumpy at best. Probably could improve volume if he smiled once every 3-4 days. Nice option for food though if youre tired of Craker Barrel & IHOP.

We stayed at the Silver Beach hotel and after eating the hotel's blah breakfast the first morning, we decided we wanted something better the second morning. This place showed up on our GPS and it was only a block away! The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. We will come back here next time we're in St.... More
