Stopped by the Driftwood tonight for an early dinner with my wife. We were staying in the Best Western just up the road so it was conveniently located. We were greeted immediately by a polite young man and promptly seated. Our waitress showed up within a minute to bring us menus and take our drink orders. We both opted for... More

We wanted to eat lunch prior to going over to the island. Restaurant has dim lighting so it feels like night time. Waitress seemed as though she didn't want to be there and we had to ask for everything including silverware and it took forever to get our bill. Food was ok -my hamburger loving 9 year who was hungry... More

Great food, way better than anything on the island and half the price! I would highly recommend this place for a family. Right across from the star line ferry.

Here on vacation and my son wanted steak. He ordered it medium and it was rare. My husbands steak smelled and tasted funny as if it was old/bad meat. The waitress took his steak back and brought him a secind one that was better. My son refused to eat his and didn't want a second one. My daughters meal and... More

I ate dinner at the Driftwood in St. Ignace on a recent Friday night when on vacation to see Mackinac Island. I wanted to walk somewhere close to my hotel for dinner, and Driftwood seemed like a good choice because it was close and the ads I saw for the restaurant made me want to go there. I was not... More

Food and service were both excellent. Hubby said his "fish in a bag" was best he has had in a long time. Loved thr irish nachos and the hushpuppies were awesome! Will go back if ever in the area again!

A nice selection salad bar that was well stocked, menu had a good variety and a nice drink selection. Our waitress was very overwhelmed the night we went though so she messed up many orders and we ordered a Pastie which is a upper peninsula specialty only to have her insult us because we pronounced it incorrectly. My steak I... More

The food was just average. My steak was really fatty and I couldn't eat most of it. My daughter's crab legs were cold. We didn't find anything special with this restaurant.

I had the soup and salad bar and my wife ordered the Driftwood burger. The items on the salad bar were fresh and tasty but there were no fruit items at all. After waiting a long time for her order, my wife finally had to ask about it after which it was shortly served with the excuse that there had... More

We had a late lunch in the Sports Bar area. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The location is ideal. When we return, we'll sit in the enclosed porch area which has a view of Lake Huron.
