Advice to any business owner...Do NOT put a shrine of political pictures on your wall. You may lose A LOT of business. Coffee was average and way to expensive. Go down the road to The Pavilion if you want a charming coffee house experience, friendly staff that care about how you like your coffee and don't cram politics down your... More

This is a small, cluttered Mom & Pop place with great homemade food. Try the daily specials -- I had lobster eggs Benedict, which was yummy. The menu is very creative. It can be very crowded, so there may be a wait.

I can't believe all of the great reviews that I read that got me to stop in here. The service was horrible and they weren't busy. Coffee was served cold. The food was mediocre with the exception of the mac and cheese with lobster. This place is ok if you have to eat breakfast, but I wouldn't wait in line... More

I live in the area and have been by many times but never stopped....we found the food to be good but found it to be tight quarters.

We went here for breakfast. Just a very small restaurant, like a mom and pop place. They have more seating outside in warmer weather but we went in October. It was sure worth the wait! My husband is very fussy about his biscuits and gravy, and he said they were the best he ever had. I had a skillet breakfast,... More

I love this area. But I'd return just to eat at this restaurant. I had pancakes, which were great. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their breakfast as well. I'd love to return later in the day to sample some of its other offerings. Everything looks good.

Wonderful breakfast, we ate there 2 mornings while visiting around Saint Ignace and Mackinac Island. They had it all; omelets, pancakes, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, hash-browns, any thing you could want for breakfast. In addition the owners were full of stories and very personable.

This was my second and last time here. Service was poor - had to ask for butter for my pancakes and when he brought it one was already used (empty). I was never offered a coffee refill. Food was OK, but spent as much time keeping the flies off it as I did eating it. So if you decide to... More
