We were in St.Ignace for three nights and on the fourth of July tried the Mackinac grille. On a busy night, there was a lineup and were told 15-20 minutes but it moved quickly and we were seated in about 5 minutes. Our waiter, Marty, was very attentive and also very busy. The drinks were served in a timely manner... More

If there is a party on the deck, eat inside where you can talk and hear one another. The view is spectacular and the staff are superb. Awesome place to eat!

On a day trip across the Mighty Mac Bridge to St. Ignace, the gateway to the Upper Peninsula, we stopped at this restaurant overlooking Lake Huron. The four of us ordered a whitefish patty melt, a stuffed focaccia, a turkey rueben, and a 1/2 ham/cheese sandwich and salad bar. All were tasty. The waitress, Angela, was pleasant and helpful. The... We had a decent dinner here only because the mayo. Courses were very ice. However, the sides were not good at all. The vegetables were cold, undercooked and surprisingly tasteless. Quite awful actually. Service started out very friendly and good, but for some reason our waitress would disappear for firmly long stretches (5-10 minutes) at a time. When she was... More

Went here on a Sunday for the brunch buffet, the choices were very limited, and although the buffet had just started, some of the food looked old. The staff was friendly, but our waitress never did come refill our coffee, and it took me 10 minutes to find her to pay the bill. Too bad, because the atmosphere of the... More

Very friendly employees, good bar, good food, great location and view. What more could you want? Especially good fish.

We ate here in May- came here because restaurant we wanted to go to was still closed for the season. Looks nice- nice interior but food was disappointing. The bruschetta was one of the oddest concoctions I have ever seen and terribly greasy. Would not return

Deck seating has views of nearby Wawatam Lighthouse. Interior seating is cozy and pleasant. The restaurant is next door to the Star Line ticket booth. Plentiful free parking. The menu features not only burgers and sandwiches, but also some nice fish entrees, including "whitefish Rockefeller," which I very much enjoyed. There is a separate bar, and the drinks menu includes... More

When I sat down with my boyfriend for dinner, I ordered a martini. The waitress asked me what kind of glass I wanted it in. I looked at her with a confused look as I thought martinis came in martini glasses. I told her I wanted it neat in a martini glass. She seemed embarrassed as she didn't know what... More
