I was back for a work related meeting and yes it looks much nicer after all the redecorating, but sorry to say the food is still very disappointing. I got the fish tacos which for some weird reason, had been liberally doused with bbq sauce! It was horrible! All I tasted was sweet bbq. Very bad. The menu said it... More

this place is always busy--the food is good & reasonably priced--the staff is very friendly--we like their waitress katie--she is so much fun--love the up north decor--they now have buffalo burgers for a little more than the regular burger--their pizzas are awesome.....

Went there with my wife and 22 year old son for dinner. First visit since the double fire and rebuild. Its all redecorated with a hunting lodge theme. I had the Shepard Pie...Delicious! My wife had the Hoagy. My son had chicken strips and fries. Everyone seemed happy with their meal. The place was fill when we got there but... More

A noodle (that's what I hope it was?!) was in the bottom of a glass of beer . . . manager said: "We don't have that kind of noodle here." I guess I'll never really know about their noodles . . . Gilbert's - NEVER AGAIN!!

First night back since the fire and the place is better than ever. The beer still cold and crowd watching still tip top. The cheese balls are still tasty as ever. Katie our waiter is top notch!! The lighting is brighter than before and the whole place looks great! Welcome back Gilbert's.

Surprised this hasn't been updated as it's been 6 months or so since they had their unfortunate fire. Long established, very popular east side pub, great for families. couples and even singles. Good foot, tons of TV's and good menu variety. I'm sure when it reopens it will be as good as it ever was.

You can't go wrong with Gilbert's! They have a huge menu with a big variety of homestyle food. I've never had a bad meal here.

Fridays are extra special! They serve a incredible walleye pike which is out of this world. The rest of the week is terrific also, but do not miss Fridays! Laid back restaurant with lots of old wood and family charm. It is really comfy. One of my favorite places. Reasonably priced and great service. Unfortunately it is now temporarily closed... More

A fun place to eat and watch sports. Great homemade choices and excellent ribs. Best garlic fries around. Never disappointed here.

It took about 5 minutes after we arrived for them to finish setting up the place, but once we were seated, it was smooth sailing. Our server, even though stretched with several large tables always kept our table cleared and our drinks refilled. Everything was fresh and hot. Pizza's were steaming and so gooey; the cheese dripping down the sides,... More
