We visited Pegasus for lunch before a Tigers game. We had a large group of 6 adults, 5 children. The food was great, waitstaff very attentive. Prices very reasonable, portions large. My husband and I ordered the lamb gyro, for 7.25 each. Had we know it was as large as it was we could have split it. Neither one of... More

Hands down. Nothing touches Pegasus when it comes to Greek food. Their salad is the best. Fresh, great feta and wonderful dressing. We,love the hot appetizer with scardillia and various dipping items stuffed grape leaves, meatballs, etc. those two make a meal.

My wife found Pegasus on the internet as we were looking for a place to dine before a concert. The reviews were generally favorable, and what could be bad about a popular Greek restaurant in Greektown? The restaurant had an authentic "feel", with wonderful Greek music on the sound system. The server was polite but aloof; he was doing his... More

Outstanding Greek food! We've eaten there with friends many times - they gyros and hummus are great if you just want Greek food that you can find almost anywhere...but if you'd like to try something new...but if you are, start off with the flaming cheese for an appetizer. Then try one of the combo plates - especially if it has... More

Not many cities have a Greektown but I've been to 3 now that do and by far this is the best experience I've had in a Greek restaurant. I had the vegetarian sampler. The food is not laden with grease or butter and the prices are very reasonable for this labor-intensive food. We were a table of 5 and had... More

Visited Pegasus Taverna in Greektown, downtown Detroit. I had the combo plate of braised lamb in tomato sauce, spanakoteropeta, mousaka (my personal favorite) and dolmathes. If you want good Greek food, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is fun, too, with flaming plates and all.

We recently enjoyed lunch at Pegasus Taverna in Greek Town. The food was very good. We enjoyed a combo platter of gyro and souvlaki and rice which was tasty. The server was pleasant and the atmosphere was inviting.

This is Pegasus in "the Shores" and it is fabulous. Thd food is tasty, the servers are friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you can't make it down to Greektown, then come here - the only thing you'll miss is the drive downtown:)

Visiting from Chicago and went to Pegasus for cocktails, coffee and dessert. As I had just returned from Greece and enjoy marvelous Greek cuisine at Greektown, Chicago, I may be a bit biased. The bar area was quite quaint and nice and bustling on Saturday night and the service was very good. We ended up having spreads and breads which... More
