The restaurant is in a bit of a run down part of town with not a lot else nearby. The building doesn't really look like a restaurant when you walk in but he food was really very good, we'll be back even though its a bit of a drive for us. The menu is not extensive and all the dishes... More

Yum Yum Yum. Yes they are pricy, yes the made-fresh-to-order food takes a while to be prepared, yes it is an "intimate" location... but man, oh man, is it worth it! Nonnie is a fantastic cook and a truly lovely human being. We have had the pho, the pad thai and especially amazing are the cheese wraps!! We moved to... More

We love the food here. It is unique, fresh and flavorful, but do not go here if you are impatient or in a hurry. Nonnie cooks to order and everything is from scratch. It isn't the typical Thai restaurant fare so don't expect t a huge menu with lots of noodle dishes. Order a drink (or two) and relax while... More

Ate there tonight, Wednesday, with a friend. Small simple dining room with artwork for sale on the walls. Nothing special. One multi-tasking server waiting several occupied tables and answering the distractingly LOUD phone that rang continuously. Liked my Jasmine Tea, Summer Roll and Temple Chicken but not raving about them. Entree contained an overabundance of white rice and minimal chicken... More

Food is judged on Presentation, creativity, Taste, and ingredients. Sabai Sabai presents all. It is unfortunate that "palates" of Saginaw are not seasoned for such. Casting pearls before swine , as they say. I have been to dozen of Asian restaurants/takeouts nationally and few could compare. Very brave of the owner to showcase such cuisine to a unrefined community that... More

This restaurant just opened about four weeks ago, and features a familiar face in a new location. The owner/chef Nonnie Saycosie-Blondin is part of the family associated with Saginaw's old favorite, Pasong's, in Old Town. Nonnie is bringing some new recipes, while clearly sticking to the family tradition of freshly made-to-order food in a friendly setting. I have been three... More
