Very good beer. Burgers are absolutely wonderful. Like the atmosphere. They also have happy hour specials.

We have never been disappointed when ordering food here. The cooks do an awesome job on every dish they make. Definitely a must visit place.

Nothing sticks out about this place. Very middle of the road F&B in a typical Royal Oak setting. Beers are similar in taste to all the thousand of other breweries around and their food is just fuel for the duration. Service similarly rushed, absent and not memorable.

This brewery /restaurant is located a couple of blocks off Main Street, where the "action" is usually centered in Detroit's most lively suburb, but this little gem is well worth everyone's attention! Both indoor & patio seating are available, & we opted for the patio, which is cozy with a dozen or so umbrella-covered tables. The chicken Parmesan sandwich was... More

In this restaurant you can get a large variety of American food. I had the "Royal Oak burger", and I enjoyed that. The meat was good and well grilled. Perfect combination with salad, tomato and onions. French fries were also good. The only issue I experienced is that when the restaurant is crowdy you can barely speak with the other... More

I was passing through town with a friend and we stopped in on a Monday night. He had the cajun catfish and I had the short rib tacos. Food was fantastic. We each got a sampling of the beers and liked the ESB the most. Having been to Basstone before, I thought the food and beer were better at Royal... More

Went with a big party on a Monday night while visiting family. Place was really loud but not that crowded. Can't imagine how loud it must be on a packed night. The buffalo potato chips were a great appetizer to go with our beers. Don't get Korean Beef tacos. There was hardly any meat and what there was, was dry... More

Stopped in about 9pm on a recent Saturday night and were able to get a table right away. The food was good and the service was personable. I enjoyed the Voodoo Curry and my wife had Shepard's Pie. They wee both good choices. They also offer a variety of salads, sandwiches and brick oven pizzas. The place has several TV... More

We visited this establishment on a week night with party of 18. We were seated promptly(advance reservation), drink and appetizers orders were taken immediately and served quickly. The same was true for our food orders. We had one waitress service the entire table and she did so quickly.....extremely effecient! Due to the size of our party, we were seated at... More
