This place has been here a long time, and it survives by delivering and adapting while never compromising standards. I went with three friends, got advice on which beer to drink from them, and it was delicious (I could only have one, a bit of a lightweight). Each of us enjoyed our dinner - I look forward to going back.

I stop in often and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Sometimes gets a little loud but won't distract you. The patio is great in the summer. They have good specials and a great beer cheese soup.

We have eaten here several times. Last night my daughter and I split a SRIRACHA AND CHORIZO pizza and a pitcher of the Northern Lights. Amazing!! Bonus we got there right before happy hour ended at 6:00 PM and the pitcher was only $10. My Husband had the French Dip. It was wonderful as well. We have had their burgers... More

We stopped by the Royal Oak Brewery for lunch before a Christmas Party. The service was efficient and friendly and the food very good. I especially liked the Queso con carne with Chis. I had the Korean tacos which were OK, I would have preferred a spicier sauce. The Asian cucumbers were unusual and excellent. My date had the chicken... More

Went on a Friday night and knew it would be crowded. Bar area was overflowing. Guess you don't need to get on the list to get a bar table. Kind of confusing layout. Only had a beer and it was good. Menu had a lot of items...almost too many.

Whenever we venture out to Royal Oak, we are guilty of always stopping here to eat. Royal Oak is a mini melting pot for food, but we always end up here. Have yet to have a bad meal here. Enjoy the atmosphere, service, and their beer. We have gone with couples on date night, and have even met up with... More

Stopped in here in the middle of the afternoon, so besides a few folks sitting at the bar, it was relatively empty. Our waitress let us sit where we wanted and was quick with our drinks and food. Having never tried any of this brewery's beers, we decided on a sampler, which was a good call. The samples were probably... More

Located just a couple blocks from downtown, street (meters) or local paid-lot parking. Good menu, great beers, friendly service. A little noisy, so not a place for a conversation, but a good place to hang out, watch the game, and enjoy really fine brewed-on-premise beer.

A nice restaurant where you can get a decent meal at a reasonable cost. Nothing terribly special, but dependable and consistent. I'm not a beer drinker, but many of my friends are and they seem to really like the homemade brews.

I love craft brews and bar food. Just saying. So of course I was gonna like it here!! And I did!! One thing I noticed about the Royal Oak/Ferndale area (as a now "regular" visitor) is the preponderance of good beer places! And breweries! I just love that! I know I'll always have some fun place to go! Count me... More
