My husband and I frequently dine here. There is a huge variety of sandwiches available and is a pleasant place to meet with friends year round. In the summer there tables, umbrellas on the front patio are perfect for people watching and having a glass of wine. Desserts are food too. This is one of those friendly and comfortable places... Service and food selection is just average. Nothing extra to mention. Parking is on the street by parking meters and typical Royal Oak in parking enforcement - rough!! Be sure and keep the meter running.

The wait staff is slow and inefficient. On a recent visit they had changed the menu so choices are limited. I ordered #70 which was supposed to be on challah bread and got Texas toast. Their "potato chips" are dreadful - dry and tasteless - why not bring a bag of Lay's instead. My waiter did not ask if I... More

I am a lifer in southeast Michigan. A group of us went there for brunch in August! We are a group of retirees. It is obvious that our business wasn't wanted. Toast was served as plain cold bread. When we mentioned that and the undercooked eggs, we we met with hostle body language and a surly smirk. Want good service,... More

They have a full menu but the DESSERTS! Butter creams and cream cheese frosting piled on cakes and cupcakes. Candies crushed into brownies and cookies. The tortes and cheesecakes are amazing.

Would give it a 5 except for: Waitress wanted to put us at a high table but my 85-year-old father would not be comfortable there and she was annoyed we wanted to sit at a regular table in the main part of the restaurant. Fortunately her attitude did improve and we were happy with the service in the end. We... More

Pronto! Has a vast selection of traditional and gourmet deli sandwiches with all meats (beef, poultry and pork) along with several vegetarian selections. My favorite is the Granny Roll Up: chicken salad with diced granny smith apples rolled up in a lawash with havarti cheese. The appetizer choices are terrific. I recommend the baked garlic and the fried pickles. They... More

This place was packed, inside and out. The first thing to catch your attention was the pretty people of all ages, then the dessert case OMG I gained 5 pounds looking and drooling over it. Ample seating with variety of table, booth, umbrella or not. Wait staff was friendly and wore ready tight skinny jeans. jealous I guess : )... More

I must admit that this place is a notch above the chain places like Applebees and TGI Friday's but it is inconsistent in both service and food. On our visit they ran out of rye bread for deli sandwiches! We were charged extra for onion that was supposed to be o.n a hambuMy rger platter. Some members of our party... More
