Lives up to the hype

Be sure to get here early (they start serving dinner at 5pm). The place fills up extremely fast. Although the staff is excellent, Inn Season does not have much seating. I like the food here a lot, but there is usually a wait to be seated. No where really to hang out inside so in the winter time this creates a bit of a problem. In the summer you an wait outside at the picnic table or just next to the building. My favorite is the stir fry.

In Season's is a staple of Royal Oak. Started by my friend Greg as a fully vegetarian restaurant, it had branched out to include almost any dietary restriction you could think of. The meals are delicious, locally derived, and inspired by a variety of cultural influences. The menu is always changing.

To say I had doubts when my husband suggested that we go to a vegan/vegetarian restaurant on a Friday night would be an understatement. But per my Chick in the Mitt commitment to try new places for our readers – I agreed and got ready to have a salad for dinner. When we pulled up to Inn Season Cafe there... More

Inn Season Cafe is great--large vegan/vegetarian selection and everything is excellent. Portions are generous, service was good and we didn't feel rushed. The only problem was deciding what to order, as it all sounded good. Definitely try to save room for dessert.

This is a great cafe to go to for vegetarian cuisine. There menu has a great selection with soy free and gluten free choices as well. I really enjoy there daily specials when I go because of the variety. If you want to feel good knowing you are eating a nutricious delicious meal, you definitely need to take a trip... More

Love vegetarian/vegan food? You won't be disappointed here. They've lasted for years and years precisely because they have a vision and a mission. The food is excellent, spiced perfectly, healthy, a real joy to eat here. I'm not vegetarian, either, but great food is great food, right? Right.

We took some out of town guests for a wonderful brunch at Inn Season in June, so decided to come back for dinner on our son's birthday and it did not disappoint. We shared the Babagaboush appetizer, which was outstanding, as were the salads. The main dishes were creative and delicious. One of our favorite dining spots in Metro Detroit!

Inn Seasons is one of the most delicious vegetarian restaurants I've ever been in. The stir fries are wonderful and you really cannot go wrong with any of their entrees. However, with a dinner this tasty, they really need a wine license. A nice glass would greatly enhance the meal.

One of the best places in the Detroit area to get really healthy food and most dishes have the option to get them gluten free or soy free. The prices were very reasonable and the service was very good. The Botana was great!
