Best burger in town and it's been that way forever!

Best burger in town and it's been that way forever! Just don't try to get there when you were in a rush anytime after 5 o'clock!

I like this place ! I've been here twice and look forward to future visits. The food is delicious. Especially for pretty typical pub style selections. Wonderful drink menu, extensive beer selections. Excellent service. Good value. Valet parking. What's not to enjoy?

Sweet potato fries are a favorite, so we started with those fine-tasting tidbits, while we decided on the rest. I went with the special Piedmontsee beef, on the frank opinion I asked of the waitress. Yes, it is well worth the extra cost, IMHO. On a Brioche bun with saute mushrooms, grilled onions, Monterey Jack cheese and their regular accompaniments,... More

They have french onion soup, huge juicy hamburgers, chowder, I usually just get chili or chowder as I'm not hungry enough for the burgers. But I go with a group and everything always looks good, no one ever complains about their food.

Very decorative booths. Food was great and worth the 40-minute drive. Want to go at dinner sometime and try some entrees.

A good place for a good burger. Been here a couple of times now and have never been disappointed. They don't take reservations but it usually takes like 15 to 20 min to get a table - service is good and burgers are delicious.

Dated looking restaurant with good food. My daughter had the salmon burger which is made fresh daily - it was very good. I had the rustic Greek salad which was also very good. My husband had the perch which is served with fries and coleslaw - also good. The restaurant was very crowded - but the wait was short. Our... More

Burgers are what they do best, but I wouldn't go out of my way for them. Fries are nothing special, either. The place is always packed, so obviously someone loves the joint, just not me. The interior is dark and waaaay outdated, I'd be terrified to see what the 50 yr. old carpet REALLY looks like, & the ladies' room... More

I have been going to Red Coat since I was a teenager (I'm 46 now) and I still can't find a better burger anywhere, in all my travels. It's a small, cozy place with a great atmosphere. Sometimes we like to sit at the bar. Fun and low key. There's always a wait, but that's to be expected for this... More

People (especially us) have been going to Red Coat for years. It may not be big and spacious, but it is snug and cosy.Just the right ambience for friends to be together. And to top it off, the food is great. LOVEthe fried mushrooms; the corned beef; fish and chips; and the bar is well stocked. The prices are affordable. Just a... More
