Antica Pizzeria Fellini closed. The owners promised to re-open somewhere in Shelby Township but I haven't heard anything more as of yet. Luigi Cutraro moved in and opened the wonderful Trattoria Pizzeria da Luigi. Fellini's wood-burning pizza oven was left behind and Luigi's pizzas are delicious. I'd love to write a full review on Luigi's because the pizza is just... More

So happy to have discovered a great pizza place so close to home. The menu consists of several specialty pizzas, some sandwiches, salads and a build your own pizza guide. One of the cool things about this place is that it's BYOB. We brought a bottle of wine and they served it to us for the low corkage fee of... More

This some of the best pizza I've ever had, even in Italy. Fresh and quality ingredients really make a difference compared to the chain "American" style places. Maria is a riot of a waitress. She'll keep you smiling. If its busy, be prepaid for a short wait, but it's definitely worth it!

Spectacular, authentic neapolitan pizza. Perfect. The owner/chef is obsessed with quality to the extent that he actually blends his own custom sausage with his supplier, who is a small meat market. Everything is great quality, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is restrained and "grown up." Not a bar scene, there's no bar. Liquor licenses are impossible to get in Royal... More

This pizza is the real deal. Hand crafted and wood-fired oven cooked. We all agreed, this was some of the best pizza we've ever had and certainly the best in Michigan. No Little Caesar's here, this is really, really good pizza. We each tried a different pizza and they were all outstanding. If you like really good, authentic pizza, this... More

Not what I expected. Absolutely delicious! We tried almost every pizza on the menu, all amazing! I can't wait to try it on my next pizza night. They don't sell alcohol, but we picked up a couple bottles of wine down the street and enjoyed them with our pizza. The live music was a nice touch ...and I was even... More

If you enjoy American Style pizza (i.e. Domino's, Papa Romano, Pizza Hut), you won't be happy with this type of pizza. Its a variation of an authentic style pizza that is small and quite thin. I am a native from Tuscany and I am familiar with this style of Neapolitan pizza but I did think the tomato sauce was quite... More

I love that the Metro Detroit area is getting more traditional style pizzerias! My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at Fellini. We shared a lovely, fresh salad and each got our own pizzas (I'm a bit more adventurous with my toppings and we certainly didn't mind having the left-overs). Their pizza crust has such a wonderful flavor! Dessert... More

I lived in Naples, Italy for 8 years while in the military and nothing beats a good Neopolitan pizza! When I heard the was a DOC registered pizza place close to me ( I traveled over a hour to get to the restaurant) I had to try it. My husband and I stopped in for lunch on our way to... More

We have the Sophia pizza. delicious! We enjoyed espresso and 3 desserts :) Tiramisu, which was delicious. Cannoli, fresh! and the chocolate truffle gelato, wonderful. The service was great. We were happy with everything - atmosphere, food and service.
