Great BBQ

There were 4 of us on a Sunday evening. We were not at all disappointed. One of us had the beef tip salad, another the brisket, another the salmon sandwich and I had the bbq chicken sandwich. Sweet potato fries were excellent. Service was good; we ate on the patio. My only complaint: they... read more

Our family of adults had dinner there on a Saturday night. My son and son in law had been there several times and recommended it. The service was prompt and efficient and the decor was open and informal. I had the Longhorn Brisket Sammy; it was awesome. I wasn't planning on eating the whole thing, but I couldn't stop. They... Had the Texas Chili, a bowl and the Brisket Sammy, my buddy had breakfast.. skip the breakfast, go for the BBQ. it is what you are there for right!!.. The chili was humungous, could not finish half of it.. Fantastic Corn Bread served with!! this was enough, but had also ordered the Brisket which was a slab on a bun!!..... More

I've been coming to this place for a while now being a resident of Royal Oak. I can honestly say I've had some of the best ribs ever here but also the worst ribs I've ever had here. Not sure why that is. At any rate I'll continue to keep coming back because it is in my opinion one off... More

Been to Lockharts several times but went on June 29 and food was outstanding. Has brisket and pulled pork combo, both meats were excellent. Corn medley and Garlic mashed for sides were nice complement. Service was great.

Very good beer selection and atmosphere. Above average tasting BBQ, but very small serving sizes. A little overpriced. Wait staff is usually very attentive. Good for large groups of 4 or more.

I was pleasantly surprised (only because I hadn't been there before) to meet my colleague out on the back porch, and enjoy some fabulous barbeque turkey breast (YUM!) with dandy sides (the corn bread really is good) and a craft beer for under 20 bucks. I had the sweet potato fires (I like to pretend they are good for me).... More

This is my second visit. My guest had a beer that he really enjoyed. We got a seat right away but that is likely because it was 5:30 on a Thursday. As we were leaving it was starting to pick up. The food was very good as were the sauces. I still think Bad Brads is better all around but... More

I was taken here by some work colleagues while visiting Detroit on business. They assured me it was the best BBQ in the area. They certainly weren't wrong. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing, and there was tons of it. I would definitely return here when I'm next in Detroit. Since being back in London I've... More

Brought a party of 40+ people here and was amazed at the excellent service and the for thats to die for. Good BBQ is not easy to find anywhere, but this place does it way better then most. Had no shortage of good food, everything was good and of a good proportion. Must eat place in the area!
