Great food close to the airport

WOW - wasn't expecting the food to be so good. Portions are big. I highly recommend the sojouk appetizer to add with a sandwich. It provides a nice "kick". The sausage is not what I would typically think as sausage but more like mixed meat shaped like a sausage. The food was very good except... read more

Two friends and I went to Beirut Restaurant for supper while staying over in Detroit before our flight the next day. We all had chicken schwarma and fries. The food was delicious! The service was a little slow, but we had nothing better to do so it was not a nuisance. I thought the price was very good, especially for... More

Stopped in for a quick bite - but was blown away with the quality and service. Amazing shrimp shish kabob! Would highly recommend

Had a long layover in Detroit and decided to go eat using Uber service. Food is so good i wanted to take some with me on my next flight. However, service was so poor.

You know how it is when you're staying at generic airport hotels. It's all very ho hum. Thawed salmon or limp salad or ubiquitous burger one more time.... So, not expecting much for my first stay at an inn by the Detroit airport, I went to Beirut Restaurant on Merriman Road within a mile of a cluster of chain inns.... More

I have been eating here for years, and it's always consistent! When I know I will be traveling to Detroit, my mouth starts watering days in advance! I love this place! My favorite in the sautéed lamb and hummus! Hands down they have the best and most authentic hummus i have ever had!

We wanted something out of the ordinary but with a safe choice for our son. We ordered the Shish platter for 2 and were surprised that it was enough for 4 people. Ample bread for dipping in generous, creamy hummus. Various roasted meats and appetizers served on a delicious bed of rice. A really nice way to try many things.... More

This restaurant deserves the high marks that it has received. It serves up generous portions of very good food (of what we ordered) at a very fair price. We ate lunch there and had enough to take back to the hotel for dinner. MORE IMPORTANTLY, the delightful service of Malak (sp), the young waitperson, more than made up for any... More

Went in for lunch and man the food was good. If you go by yourself it can be pricy but if u don't with friends or family it's reasonable due to the portion size of the appetizers. all of the food is homemade except the bread. It shows they care bc the food was good. The place is cold inside... More

If you wanna eat an original Lebanese food, you must come here. This place is great, food have a taste of Lebanon, great servers and it is what I believe a family kitchen and this is the most important part. All the workers are from Lebanon, Try Humus and Tabulh also the Shawerma is great.
