Clientele appeared to be a mix of locals and people staying at one of the many nearly hotels. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. Good selection of food and drinks on the menu. Food was reasonable but nothing special. Emphasis seems to be on large portions rather than quality. Place was very noisy and crowded when I was there. I... More

This attracts locals as well as business travelers. I had BBQ, which was ok. My friends recommended this because they had a good lunch. It does have a great beer selection if you drink beer.

We walked to the Merriman Street Grill from the Sheraton, and were impressed by the service, the portion size, and the large menu and beer selection. My husband had a New York strip and I had a cup of French Onion soup. Both were good, ample and the price was reasonable. The restaurant isn't fancy, but it's a good choice... More

There is not much to be said about the restaurant selection around the airport area in Detroit, other then a bit dismal. Staying the night and having no car, the selection is even more limited. The Merriman Street Grill is often full around dinner time. The food quality is cafeteria at best. The salads are made with iceberg lettuce, 'plastic,'... More

We always eat there when we stay at the Holiday Inn Express for the shuttle to the Airport. The food has been consistently good. Turkey Reubens, Regular Reubens, Michigan cherry salad, craft beer...MMMMMMmmmm good.

Food was good and plentiful, service was good and friendly. The place was packed but the servers kept up with orders and did not seem to be running around in a confused state as I have seen in other places. Also the washroom was very clean which is a good sign in most eating establishments.

My wife and I booked a park and fly at a nearby hotel due to an early morning flight out of DTW. We were looking for somewhere not too expensive, with good food. Merriman Street Grill was it! The service was excellent, and the food was great. We had a couple of drinks, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely would recommend... More

I'm on an extended contract in the DTW area, and staying at an airport property nearby. The waitress was super-friendly and very attentive. She helped with my selection from the menu, her favorite, the Chicken Angelina. It was good; the pasta was perfect, with a lot of flavor and even some kick from the pepperoncini's (so if you've read my... More

Great beer, average food which was overcooked and not fresh. nice waitress but she was busy with a bus load of boys and their coaches so slow service even though she hustled! Lights too bright and no atmosphere. But large menu with specials. Do not order the perch.
