Had heard about "Henry's" 36 in pizza; guests were from 10 hours away; had talked about this specialty - ordered it - he wouldn't make it. Don't know why - were just told sometimes he's that way. We were an appropriately acting, paying group, and had planned on this for a long time. Will never go there again.

Henry's is filled with history and what the real UP is all about. Ordered the special of the day, cod fish sandwich. Service was friendly and prompt.Fish sandwich was huge and cooked to perfection. Husband loved the Marilyn Monroe bathroom, ladies room was nice too.. Already planning our next trip to the area to include the fish fry on Friday... More

We have been to Henry's several times over the years....it's not any better than it has been--and is not worse. We were there for Italian Nite....great pizzas, salad bar, etc.....chicken is great. Service is very good....and it really represents what Rockland used to be....can you imagine a hundred miners jammed in the smoky bar on pay day in 1930, etc.....pretty... More

Stopped by Henry's at the recommendation of the nice lady at the local museum. We waited for over an hour and a half for them to prepare our lunch. After waiting for this length of time, I finally complained to the owner. the owner then went into the kitchen to speak to the cook. Our lunch then came within a... More

This was a much needed stop after a day on the trails. We'd heard the burgers were the best, and the didn't disappoint! The rest of my family had a burger and fries - rave reviews from all. I had to try a homemade Pasty (pronounced with a past-ee...because pronouncing it with a long A is something entirely different!). It... More

Stopped by for some fuel and drinks while on the snowmobile trails. No food as there was some issue with the towns water, etc. No fault of thiers, however it was the service that led to writing this poor review. The bartender didn't greet anyone that walked in the door the entire time we were there, acted extremely indifferent that... More

Looks like a hole in the wall, but the fact is, the homemade fare, fresh seafood and wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts make Friday night the perfect time to put on the "Henry Hurt" at the all-you-can-eat buffet at Henry's Never Inn. Personal favorites include the perch, walleye, shrimp and whitefish. There is always a ham or... More

Henry's is a landmark in Rockland and everyone who passes through this area should stop by. They often have a "theme" night but my favorite is Thursday, which is "pasty" night. A pasty at Henry's is large enough to share, although I will admit that I cheerfully ate it all by myuself. The crust was flaky and the filling of... More
