My friend and I had lunch today at "Reds On The River". We knew that the prices were a little upscale but, what the heck, it's the Holiday Season. My friend both picked the "Pick Two for $12, 1/2 salad, 1/2 soup or 1/2 sandwich. We both went with the Grilled Chicken Club for our sandwich portion. Boy, was this... More

Here in Rockford every one loved to go to Reds on the River. You knew you were going to get a good meal. Well there is new management and it has changed and not for the better. Other people have commented on changes not being for the good, now I understand. The menu changed and the prices went up. They... More

I had lunch with a group of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. It is on the pricey side (about $20 each for lunch) for the area, but it is a great location and atmosphere. The service was very good and they are usually not that busy for lunch so food comes out quick.

The setting for this restaurant is very nice being along the rogue river. There is outdoor seating when the weather permits. The food is quite good. I have eaten there many times and never had a bad meal. The service has always been excellent. The price is very high for the area.

I picked up my girlfriend from Tampa at the airport and wanted to take her to a late lunch for her birthday that day. I had biked on the White Pine Trail from Comstock Park to Rockford earlier this summer and wanted to return to Rockford and try Red's. The location on the Rogue River is very scenic and the... More

The a Dining room is beautiful. However, the prices were very inflated. When I inquired about Gluten Free, the waitress said they have "no GF items", there's simply a few items on the menu that can be made w/out Gluten. The GF items are steaks, seafood and some salads. For a place that claims to "cater" to GF, what they... More

This restaurant is locally owned, situated on the river walk in this quaint little town, just east of us 131 expressway and north of Grand Rapids, I'm. The chef understands the needs of those struggling with celiac disease and gluten free gourmet. Everything we have tried, gf and not, has been wonderful. We would heartily recommend this restaurant.

Worst meal I have had in a long time. I ordered scallops, in which the whole four on my plate were ok, but they were served on a bed of minute rice with gravy. Nasty. My husband had sword fish and said he could not get the grease taste out of his mouth. Nice atmosphere but rotten food, especially for... More

Extremely pleasant evening at Reds. It was our first time. The salad was fresh. The asparagus cooked perfectly as was my filet. The shrimp ordered in addition should not be called shrimp. They were massive. The wait staff was prompt and not overbearing. Appreciated recommendations. Warning! The chocolate mousse is enough to share. Always a nice touch when the manager... More
