The donuts and cider draw us in. A trip down the abandoned railroad grade finishes the afternoon. Good luck getting the kids back in the car.

This is a nice location to take the family but watch out it gets VERY busy during the peak season. During the peak season you could not get me there if you paid me. The lines are VERY long. I try to go very early morning on the weekend since it is just around the corner when we go. The... More

This is a multi visit must for fall in Metro Detroit. The Cider and donuts are fantastic. Look forward to this every year. We have actually made stops to pick up cider and donuts for our daughter that is away at college. She shares them with her friends and believe it or not, there are folks that have never dunked... Fantastic place to enjoy the fall cider and donuts. We especially love the walking trail and were able to bring our dog. this is a must-do fall adventure.

There is absolutely nothing better than going to Yates Cider Mill in the fall! The cider is delicious and the warm doughnuts are well worth the wait in line. I've also purchased their carmel apples, pies, pumpkin butter, and their bags of fresh honeycrisp apples. Everything is delicious! Add great treats to beautiful surroundings with a walking path and farm... More

Visited in October 2014. Great cider, hot donuts, friendly people. Nice walking trail, too! Love this place! They also sell fudge, pumpkins and have a petting zoo with some farm animals.

My friend and I went out to the cider mill to have some Fall treats and to walk the trails. I brought two of my three dogs along for the outing. We were there on a Saturday so it was pretty crowded. We walked the Nature Trail along the river and enjoyed the beautiful Fall colors. There was an abundance... More

The donuts were good but the line to wait for them was WAY too long and that was all there was at the mill. Donuts, cider, and other things to buy. Maybe on a weekday it won't be as bad but still not with the effort. The saving grace of this place was the city/state? Trails. Trails went along the river... More

Yates Cider Mill has been around longer than I have and they have been making delicious donuts, cider, and pies the whole time. The delicious treats are definitely a help in making this the best cider mill around but what really makes it is the relaxing nostalgia of enjoying a place like you did when you were a kid. It... We went to the Cider Mill on a beautiful September afternoon. The atmosphere was nice and family oriented. There was a petting zoo and other kids activities on sight. The lines to purchase apple cider and pastries looked long, but moved quickly, as they were well staffed. The down side was the amount of Bees! It was impossible to find... More
