I hadn't been back since I was a little after moving down to Florida. I went this past weekend with family and upon smelling the hot donuts I felt like I traveled back in time. This is the best place to take your family. You can snack on hot donuts and the freshest apple cider in the world. It is... More

I expected more than just some cider and miscellaneous baked goods for sale - I thought I'd get to see the cider press work - but nothing going on when I was there. Perhaps that would have made it worth while. The enter door takes you to the cash register to purchase cider, etc., - that is it. You can... More

You take a step back in time at Yates Cider Mill. This water powered operational cider mill is perfectly placed along the Clinton River. The smell of the donuts baking will make your mouth water. This is a must pit stop!

You need to go to this cider mill to just eat their donuts. It is excellent. They have the plain & cinnamon donuts. We usually buy at least a dozen. The donuts are small in size & one can easily eat three or four. The apple cider is pretty good as well

A delicious tradition each fall in RochesterHills, Michigan! Everyone should go and the lines are worth it. Plenty to see in the operational cider mill, outdoor seating, walk along tree lined walking paths. They usually are open in fall only but recently extended hours to serve ice cream.

This is not a restaurant! It is a wonderful cider mill set on the Clinton River with trails for hiking. A great family place now opened all year round. Beware, fall weekend traffic can be insane. You can watch the whole process of apples to cider with all the energy being generated by the water wheel. Have fun! We always... More

They have great warm donuts & cider, plus ice cream in the summer. Nice place to get outside. Right along Clinton River with a trail. Gets very busy. Right where Dequindre Rd. meets with Avon/23 Mile. Traffic backs up and it's hard to pull in and out of parking lot. People park at the park across the street and cross... More

This is a cider mill, if that's what your looking for there are 3 or 4 more within 20 minutes of this one. Parking and traffic flow are serious problems here. Trying to cross the road from the overflow lot is difficult at best as westbound traffic rarely yields to pedestrians. Children ( there are usually many here) should be... More

Stopped by today for cider and donuts. Can't say a bad thing about the taste and quality of the cider and donuts. It is set up for a complete family experience with animals to view and pony rides. I would have thought that a bumper crop of apples this year would make the price of cider more reasonable...I paid $8.50... More

If you grew up in the area. You probably went here as a kid. But the problem is. Thats when it was at it best. As a kid in the 1980's. This place is not set up to handled the crowds they get. Standing line out side for over an hour.Just to see apple cider made and buy expensive donuts... More
