Some particular items to take special notice of are the floor located in the main bar area dating back more than 140 years, also the the stone wall separating the dinning area from the bar was once an exterior wall, now recovered offering a soft rustic feel. My husband and I really enjoyed the Irish food! The service was very good. Try the beer sampler, specially a British cider and the Michigan red fruits one.

We meet friends here for happy hour once in a while very friendly atmosphere. Downtown location makes it easy to get to. And it helps that they have good food.

If you are looking for a fun atmosphere, a great beer selection and authentic tasting Irish food, this is the place. Whether with family or friends, this is a fun place to eat. Beer is rated a 9 and the food rated a 6. Food is hit and miss and the service could be faster but with such a young... More

The food varies from fish and chips to pies to numerous entries. The food is consistently good, and the environment is typically lively. The beer selection is the primary reason for continuing to come back, though, with a nice selection of U.S. craft beers as well as the usual Irish offerings.

Walked in Saturday night and it was time for a Smithwicks! After I ordered my beer, I decided I needed the fish and chips, as only an Irish Pub can serve, they did not disappoint. The fish was excellent and the meal was delicious. While the food was excellent, our server was not and I tried not to let it... More

Busy place for a nice pub lunch. We were a group of eight and each enjoyed the lunch we chose. I would go back!

Overall this is typically one of our "go to" default spots to land when out on the town. Typically very good service, even though it is often packed. They make an effort on special occasions like St Patty's Day, halloween and so on. They often will have live performers on Sundays for their brunch and Wednesdays, and will often have... More

When I want a good burger in Rochester, we head here. Although very noisy, we like the atmosphere. A jumping place for sure, especially with the younger crowd.
