Came here on the advise of a woman walking her dogs in the park at Harbor Springs. I should go find this woman and give her a big hug. This was a great lunch. Our waiter,Jason, recommended theChicago Burger - Swiss cheese, mushrooms, Bleu Cheese. So yummy! They were really busy but they kept us happy with the wonderful hot biscuits... More

We ate here on a recommendation and it was a good choice. The food was good and reasonably priced. I wish we had found it sooner I would have tried the Chicago burger, it's supposed to be quite tasty. The building has an interesting history as well.

Great food! Friendly staff. One of Hemmingway's hideouts when he toured northern michigan! Would recommend.

Another of the historic Petoskey buildings. This one has 2 areas. A vintage wooden bar and a more formal dining area. Good entrees and appetizers. Not too pricey. Good selection of local brews.

Went to this place with a buddy of mine on a day trip into Petoskey. While I don't personally drink my friend commented on the impressive spread of alcohol. The had a band that was rather good once it got later in the evening.

We went here for dinner with some friends. The menu seemed a tad pricy, but we were delighted to discover that we were there during their happy hour, and could get 'starters' at half price. The food was excellent. Our party ordered a variety of 'starters' and it was enough to fill everyone up.

Went here during a work conference last week. Dropped in to a scenic part of downtown Petoskey, MI to grab dinner. Had a blackened chicken sandwich. It was overcooked (dry) but did the job. The bar-restaurant itself is --- if nothing else -- vintage. Incredible history and the barkeep knew all about it...enjoyed a home brewed Horny Monk ale and... More

We stopped by for a light dinner after having a disappointing start (appetizers) at another restaurant. The biscuits were wonderful and the homemade chicken soup was some of the best I have ever had. The sandwiches were very large and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The best part was when we asked out server, Barb, about the history of the... More

A Hemmingway history spot. At a light dinner here, just salad and a meatball appetizer. I have a friend who loves a good wedge salad. I only remember from my childhood as they are no longer popular. I have never eaten one, so I thought I try it here. So glad I did. It was a really great salad, much... More

Hemingway sat at the second stool at the bar at the front of the house. Relaxed and casual with good and friendly service. Soups were delicious and accompanied by homemade warm buttermilk biscuits! My wife ordered the City Park Salad which she savored to the end. I ordered the grilled salmon. The grilled salmon was seasoned lightly and served with... More
