Pub Grub and Grog (well ok a huge assortment of local beers)

A great assortment of pub grub and grog to satisfy a casual dinner, a burger with beer, or just a pint. It's usually packed so, just relax and enjoy the ambiance while you wait.

We got into town late and they were about the only place still serving (until 11). Fried cheese curds and shrimp jammers were delicious. Great fried walleye and delicious, reasonably priced beers! Atmosphere and decor really eclectic and cool. Definitely not pretentious or hipster.

My family and I visited Mitchell's today for lunch. Very cool place in Petoski , Mi. I had the beef sandwich with cheddar , served on grilled sourdough, which came with sliced onions and tomato. The sandwich was awesome as the beef was sliced from a roasted prime rib. It also came with the beef barley soup, which was solid.... More

Quaint local bar to get a cocktail while taking a break from walking downtown. Reasonable drink prices and good atomsphere.

Great food and a fun atmosphere. Always friendly servers and fair prices for the area. We go once a month at least.

FIrst time we visited, we had dinner. Whitefish was excellent. Three days later, we had hamburgers for lunch. Hamburgers were also excellent. Our lunch waitress was friendly and courteous. We would come here again when in the area.

The food was delicious. The service was the rudest I have ever experienced. I will NEVER return. Every person from the greeter to the waitress was rude.

When we stopped in for a late lunch we apparently entered through a secondary door, because we walked into an empty dining room with a lot of empty booths and no servers. We kept walking and soon found out that the bar part was next door and we should have entered through the "tap room" entrance. We eventually found a... More

This was our first visit to Petoskey. I went to trip advisor for advice on a good meal. After we stood for a while ungreeted wasn't sure if a hostess sitted you or we put our names in as we had never been there. We saw some seats at the bar so we sat to wait for a booth to... More
