Great variety in and interesting decore

The food was very good. They seemed short staffed when it was busy. Good choice of beers and good variety of food. I would go back again and try some other items on the menu. Not a trendy place, but they have been there for a long time, which speaks to the general quality and level of service.

When we first walked in, we couldn't see anything. It was very dark and cave-like. Once our eyes adjusted, it was just a hometown bar with TONS of things on the walls and ceiling. I got the patty melt and my husband got the walleye plate. Service was good and food was good. However, it was a Tuesday night and... More

My husband and I absolutely love going to the Mitchell Street Pub. What's so great about it? Everything! Chicken wings, burgers, homemade soups, cider and Soft Parade on tap, dark and cozy atmosphere, and the amazing staff make this a must visit spot when we are in Petoskey.

Stopped by looking for dinner. The inside of the bar is very unique, full of cool things on the walls and ceilings to look at (including a moose head over the bar area). You get peanuts and the shells go on the ground (new experience for my mom!). We ordered burgers (no bun because we eat gluten free) and we... More

Free peanuts in the shell and free popcorn. Great burgers and fish. Can't go wrong! Friendly wait staff, too!

My family stopped here for appetizers & drinks after a day of shopping in the gaslight area. The walkways inside the pub are very narrow & the rooms are very dark. The family across from us used their phone flashlight to read the menu (at 1pm). We had nice drinks and snacks. The white bean chili was fine. The potato... More

We got into town late and they were about the only place still serving (until 11). Fried cheese curds and shrimp jammers were delicious. Great fried walleye and delicious, reasonably priced beers! Atmosphere and decor really eclectic and cool. Definitely not pretentious or hipster.

A great assortment of pub grub and grog to satisfy a casual dinner, a burger with beer, or just a pint. It's usually packed so, just relax and enjoy the ambiance while you wait.

My family and I visited Mitchell's today for lunch. Very cool place in Petoski , Mi. I had the beef sandwich with cheddar , served on grilled sourdough, which came with sliced onions and tomato. The sandwich was awesome as the beef was sliced from a roasted prime rib. It also came with the beef barley soup, which was solid.... More
