Reliable food - Servers seem to wish they weren't there

Have eaten here several times. A downtown iconic place. Good, or very good fare. Surly service at times. Maybe it's how they train their people, to be like a New York bar? News flash; they're not like that in New York anymore. Doesn't come off well, especially in a competitive restaurant town like... read more

Offers unusual, well-prepared meal choices with great service and prices in an interesting atmosphere. What more does anyone need? We will be back at first opportunity.

We drove from Ohio to Petosky for the Petosky Friday night shopping event. We ate at Mitchell's for lunch on Friday before we began our shopping marathon. We had a great time visiting with our friends from Petosky and the food was excellent. The only thing I would change is that I would split a meal with someone as the... More

Went to Mitchell Street for dinner and as the crowd piled in for a fun Friday night we ended up staying until midnight getting to know locals and having a great time! Drinks & food were good and the price was great!

This place has been around for well over 30 years. it looks like it has been there forever. lots of stuff on the wall. the menu is varied and items are of good quality and fair price. Locals hangout.. stop for a beer or bite to eat.

When you first arrive it takes a while for your eyes to adjust, but then it is very comfortable. We always sit on the side away from the bar. The burgers are very good and big enough to split. They have two kinds of horseradish. One is a sauce and the other is 'the real thing'. They will give it... More

Last Friday my wife and I met for dinner. Not very busy, but our server was preoccupied with a few guys at the bar. Took forever for her to take our order, we walked out. This place kinda has an attitude. Lots of better choices around town. Try city park grill. .more professional service.

We came in on a Friday night. There were a few people there. The staff kind of just looked at us and I had to ask if we should just sit down or if they sat us. The waitress seemed annoyed that we sat in her section and we're eating later at night. The food came out fast and was... More
