We visited the Noggin Room on a Thursday for lunch, in July 2014. Lunch was being served in the garden and the view could not have been any more beautiful. Lunch was plentiful and tasty but truthfully, we were so taken in by the weather, and the views that the setting alone was enough to rate this place with five... More

The service was good and the food was tasty. I shared a pizza and it was very appetizing. The bathrooms are really fancy too even though the restaurant wasn't too fancy. I'd recommend to any family tourists in the area looking for a good dinner.

My family ate here on our last night in Petoskey. It's in the basement of a hotel right downtown, it's not as dark down there as you'd think - there are some windows, but it's a little darker - like a pub. It's a nice restaurant and the food was excellent. My husband and I both had the fish tacos,... More

I enjoyed the sound of the live music, but they were so loud for the space, my guests and I could not enjoy them. We couldn't hear the waitress recommendation for food. I ordered the whitefish dinner and was very disappointed. The fish was overcooked and the accompanying dishes on the plate were flavored similarly. Based upon my experience, this... More

The Noggin Room was recommended to us by our hotel. We were looking for somewhere that serves local beers. The food was delish, the beers were great. There was live music too. They have a lot of different singers there, depending on the night. WE had pizza and a Italian chicken grinder. All the food was hot and tasty. You... More

Wandered into the pub on a Tuesday night, found very helpful and attentive bar staff, a bustling atmosphere and a great beer selection. Seems that over 1, 100 people have earned a "tribute" mug hung on the wall or in a case by trying all of the beer selections. Sadly, I am at 1. A nice band was too loud... More

Good place for some drinks and to sample the local entertainment. It is often loud and cozy quarters. In bottom floor of the old perry hotel. Good for a drink and a snack not sure about dinner

The Nogging Room is excellent- but they were closed for lunch when my mother and I arrived, and so we were shuffled off to the patio Rose Garden Cafe which is a restaurant not listed on Trip advisory, Thankfully. We waited 10 minutes before a waitress acknowledged us, and 20 before she took our food orders that was at 2:00... More

We ate here our first night. I had soup and MI salad and my husband had the ultimate grilled cheese and both were fine. The popcorn is great. There was entertainment but he wasn't very good. We stopped another night just for a drink. The place was packed and the entertainment was much better. Neat atmosphere, friendly staff. It's actually... More

The Whitefish Cheddar Grill sandwiches are amazingly delicious! Atmosphere, service, everything about this place is terrific! Reasonably priced, and good live entertainment in the evenings. The Perry is a grand hotel!
