Nice little place downstairs

Stooped for lunch on a Saturday. Place was very nice and clean and waitstaff very friendly and welcoming. Shared an artichoke dip (pretty bland) and we each had a sandwich from the menu. It was very good and made up for the average appetizer. Nice place to just relax and have a drink and a... read more

Went to the noggin room for lunch today, around 12:30. There was a sign on the front door saying "service is on the veranda overlooking Lake Michigan." My daughter and I went around back and sat down. We were greeted by a very unenthusiastic waitress saying "here's your menus, I'm not your server". We then sat there for another 15... More

We went on a Monday so it was quiet. We got two build-your own pizzas. And started with the fried cheese curds and fried pickles. Both were good. Next we had the seafood gumbo which was full of seafood and potatoes. Excellent. My boys of 12 and 10 also liked the soup. My husband got the onion soup which was... More

And we did just that. We started with wine/beer and artichoke dip - yum! We moved on to the black bean and pulled chicken quesadillas for me and the the Shillelagh sandwich for Spencer - both very, very good. We sat inside, but there is outside seating. The staff is very efficient and very friendly. I highly recommend it.

Seven of us went for dinner. I think most felt pretty good about what they ordered, the rest thought the food was so so. Mine was so so. Good place to go for a beer and lunch, but not where I would go for the food. Very good atmosphere.

We actually ended up going to the Noggin Room twice in two weeks. Usually things close up early around Petoskey so it's the perfect place to end up for dinner/drinks after being out shopping, boating, biking, etc. all day. We came around 8:30pm both times and since it's basically in the basement of the beautiful Perry Hotel, it's pretty small.... More

Ordered the whitefish plank meal - $25 and not good! They put under a broiler mashed potatoes, hot house tomato and small piece of whitefish (barely seasoned at that) and served it to us. Tasted as poor as it looked - what a disappointment as this is what they are known for. Not worth the price!!! Place was quiet, dark,... More

Really enjoyed our visit and meal. The whitefish fish and chips may have been the best I've ever had.

We visited Petoskey with some friends for my husbands birthday. We ended up at the Noggin room four times. The pizza is excellent and so is the seafood chowder. We couldn't have asked for a better server . We ended up with Tammy each time which was a bonus. She really did a great job and made our visits there... More

Stopped in for a couple of beers after dinner elsewhere. Nice pub feel and a decent selection of draught beer. Would be a good place to sit and watch a game or enjoy the atmosphere. Will return if I am in the area again.
