Good lunch option for young and old alike, wide variety of sandwiches, soups, salads. Always busy but lines seems to move quickly.

My family of four had lunch consisting of sandwiches, chips, and soup. All were great, but the lentil soup was outstanding! Coffee was delicious as well. Staff courteous and efficient. The seating area is a little dark and cold. When we were there, the outside temperature was about 70 yet the A/C was on and they had giant fans blowing... More

We stopped for breakfast. It was 10, very busy, and stayed very busy the whole time we were there. It's just a little coffee shop but they offer lots of food choices for breakfast and lunch. I had a huge, heated cinnamon roll and my husband had one of their baked egg breakfast sandwiches. Both were good. You just stand... More

I always stop at this place when I visit Petoskey. The food is great, and very reasonably priced. I was there for dinner and had spinach goat cheese stuffed pasta with a lovely Caesar salad for $8.99. Good variety of salads, soups and salads on the menu.

I have been to this cafe a couple of times and it has never been a disappointment. It is usually quite busy, however if you are looking to have a take away it a great place to go. Also all of their coffee is fair trade which is also a bonus.

We went to Roast and Toast twice in one day - in the morning for coffee and again at lunch to try the food and was packed both times. The coffee was great - not overpriced and a good selection of interesting drinks. The small coffee shop atmosphere (with a little hipster flair to be honest) was welcoming. The food... More

The physical appearance of this cafe is worth a visit, with its colorful and quirky entrance and its college-town-like interior's cluttered, but interesting, decor. The service at the counter is not particularly friendly or efficient, though maybe someone was in training. I could overlook that, if the food was of good quality, but the food was far from that. We... More

Breakfast, lunch and dinner the food never disappoints! Coffee any way you'd like it from a cup to coffee beans. If you're unsure the staff makes great recommendations. Best part is you can call your order ahead of time.

Cute, quaint, little coffee shop, with many other things on the menu as well. You will find all sorts of people here each morning, and that just adds to the uniqueness of this place. I have never eaten here, but have had a variety of the drinks, all have been good, and prices aren't too shabby either. Love the look... More

Excellent menu, low prices, and great service made this the highlight of our trip to Petoskey. The lunch menu is outstanding, and the scones are highly recommended.
