Wonderful sandwich spot!

Great sandwich spot. They have fresh ingredients with a coffee shop style restaurant. We stopped here for a quick lunch and we were very happy with our choice. I loved the sourdough bread! They only have one table outside.

I didn't feel there were a lot of healthy vegetarian options that sounded savory or appealing to me at all. My BF ordered the 3 pancake breakfast, but was told by one of the staff that he would not be able to get it since they had run out of syrup, mind you it was only 9:30am at this point.... More

When going to Petosky to shop Rosdt and Tosst is the natural place to eat after shopping at Grampa Shorters and McClean and Eakins Independent Book Store. Great soups, vegan choices, great drinks and interesting servers. Funky charming atmosphere.

Have been coming to Petoskey for years and now reside here. Have had many breakfasts and lunches here too. It can be noisy and chaotic with hit and miss service, which can be rude. If you are looking for homemade, scratch made meals, you should go somewhere else. Meals are cooked in a microwave. Not a grill, not a griddle... More

Thank you for taking your time to write a review. I need to respond to the statement re: scratch meals. Every morning we chop fresh vegetables to make 4 soups; season, roast, chill and slice fresh chicken for our sandwiches and salads, bake our bread, cookies, scones and muffins; chop fresh vegetables for sandwiches and salads; make our own sauces... We stopped here for lunch. I Had the "blackwich," which was delicious along with a French soda. Friendly staff too! We will be back for sure.

Best coffee in town, right in the middle of the Gaslight District. It was very busy with diners, so the food must have been good too.

This is a great little coffee shop/cafe in the heart of downtown Petoskey. Even the pickiest coffee aficionado will find something among the daily brew offerings. Notably, the dark roast options I've tried have been quite good - no burned bean taste, which is tough to come by. There's a nice selection of baked goods here, too.

Only had coffee, but they had lots of food. Place is busy which is a good sign. Great location and easy to find. Staff was fast and friendly. Yes some people will have ink, but is that a problem.

My 20-something daugher loves this place. It has a great 'vibe' - all kinds of humanity from business people, elderly, young, readers, hippies, cool cats, etc. Great place to be among everyone. - - I absolutely love their SOUPS! Big pots of 3 different kinds each day to ladle out, along with great croutons, onions, cheese, to sprinkle on top.... More
