Very expensive, cramped, with little atmosphere and arrogant waitstaff. They were more interested in what needed to be done for a private party at their Wine Bar next door. Had a bus person going back and forth, almost hitting me in the head with large dishpans full of dirty dishes. This is an off season and the restaurant was basically... More

Pricey but worth it. Amazing food from a small kitchen. Love sitting at the bar and watching how it all works. Have spent a lot of time and a lot of dollars at Chandlers. Always hope we have time to go there sometime during our weekends up north.

I visited Chandler's for the first time during Restaurant Week and was not disappointed. We did not have a reservation, but they accommodated my party of 4 on a busy night with a smile. Its a small place so reservations are recommended. My Walleye entrée portion was generous and prepared perfectly with a squash risotto. We each ordered a different... More

I have never been let down in this establishment. Even on your first visit, from the moment you step in, the staff makes you feel at home. The bar is friendly and knowledgeable!!! and will serve up all kinds of exotic drinks, wines and brew...the menu is not enormous, but the choices are exquisite and exotic...on our last visit we... Fresh and good portions. Fish excellent. Scrumptious desserts. Interesting artwork on the walls. Lively bar. Small and reservations often needed. Outdoor area weather permitting. Close to some great shopping, too.

if you like squash soup do not miss this place: they have one of the best I've tasted in a long time! They serve it with a small crab cake that not only looks great, but it tastes amazing. The place is small (about 10 tables or so), so make reservations in advance. Service is timely and polite.

Small, casual venue with a great menu and wine list. Had the elk venison backstrap with a Jordan cab. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. The chef prepared the elk perfectly. My wife had the salmon and loved it. I wish that it wasn't a 5 hour drive to Petosky or I would dine there every nite.

Chandler's is a must every time we go up north! The meals are over the top delicious, and the service is top notch. It is small and cozy with a patio for out side seating. They also have a wine room for seating, I have never sat there so I can not comment about it. They do serve a Sunday brunch... More

We had the good fortune of going to Chandlers for a business dinner and the food was amazing. We were in the wine area for dinner which is close by. The atmosphere was incredible. Although we were limited to choosing our dinner options from a separate menu, everything was so good. I had the grouper and it was top notch.... More

Almost missed going back to Chandlers this season. Made it back and the food and service was excellent as always. A little noisy because the bar is a popular place. Wine room is much quieter.
