50th birthday dinner

My wife and I ate here for a 50th birthday celebration. We've been here before and each really enjoyed our meals and the cozy atmosphere again. The reason this doesn't get the highest rating is that there was a hair in my food (salmon). A long one and it was so nasty. I know this can so easily... read more

I came in with my husband, we started with the buffalo cauliflower which was amazing. A little kick to it but I loved it. I had the Chandler's mule which was great, it was a hard choice with the very impressive wine list. For my entree I had the duck pad Thai, I was extremely impressed with the dish. Equally... More

Very small but nice atmosphere. Bar shares room with diners. Don't sit by door in winter... People open/ close doors often and it is quite chilly. Seems to cater to younger crowd. Spinach salad soggy, bit too much dressing. Caesar salad great mix of tastes with anchovies and sesame tortilla. Risotto with mushrooms very much like Mac and cheese. Halibut... More

I think this is a place for the younger crowd (like 30's)? I thought my Atlantic Char was a bit too fishy in taste-yet I do know it is part of the salmon family. Still a bit too fishy. The risotto and mushrooms overtook the actual char anyway. Was a bit overpowering. Mushy. My friend had the caesar salad with... More

This restaurant is small and cute, but not a place to have a quiet meal with your significant other as the bar is in the same room as the dining and the dining seats around 50 people so it gets loud quickly. However, the food was amazing!! I had the halibut and butternut squash bisque, my fiance had the filet... More

On a recent visit to Petoskey, we really enjoyed Chandler's! Stopped into the bar after shopping on a blustery afternoon. It is a cozy and inviting place. Attentive and knowledgable bartender helped us warm up with some of their signature drinks. Later in the evening, we returned for a terrific dinner at the restaurant. Great food and service and a... My husband and I always make a point of eating here whenever we are in Petoskey. On our most recent visit we had a fantastic dinner. I had the filet and it was delicious, but my husband's duck was amazing! He was a little nervous about the chef's medium rare recommendation but it was spot on. They have a good... More

We had two lunches at Chandler's and would recommend it. The food was tasty, service was excellent and freindly. I don't think you can go wrong with the burger and I had a very good ham sandwich can't remember name. Good value for Petoskey.

Great place to stop. It was recommended to us by one of the local merchants. Ate in the wine cellar and it was fabulous.
