We went for the fresh fish and fell in love with the appetizers! The wait staff are so friendly. The fish is caught fresh daily and they are only open until they run out. Had the fried white fish. It was great. Also ordered the fried clam strips and fried mushrooms. The clan strips were really good but the fried... More

Super food. Super service. Went twice in four days. Wish I could take some home. You won't be disappointed.

Packed for lunch, we weren't greeted with the greatest friendliness but that was soon made up for by some of the best chowder (smoked white fish), smoked white fish platter, and truly some of the best fish and chips ever (again Lake Superior white fish with malt vinegar. We even bought some of their home smoked white fish for the... More

Exactly as advertised: Fresh fish, good service, great meal! Cash only and always busy. Simple set up. Very clean. Open only as long as the fish lasts so go early or call ahead.

ok so there aren't many choices of anything in Paradise, but they are literally fileting the fish in the back and throwing them in the fryer. Whitefish that is. I think if you select some of the other choices they aren't from Lake Superior...ie..shrimp. We were very satisfied and were glad we stopped. You may think you missed it when... More

I usually pass on Fish and Chips because I don't like the breading - but not at this place. My portions (good size) were lightly breaded and I really liked having the baked potatoes option. Get there early because the close when they run out of food - which was about 7:30. And take cash!

If you have not been here before it is the kind of place that can be scary from the outside unless you are a local. It's even a little scary inside! It's old, no frills and they use plastic dinnerware etc. However if you want the freshest fish possible you won't be disappointed. There is a limited menu. The main... More

You may just drive by this place and not give a second thought....turn around, you will want to have fish and chips here. There are no specific hours, as soon as they run out of fish they close. It happened while we were there, we were among the last to get our food. The fish is caught fresh daily and... More

I kid you not...they were unloading the fish fresh from the lake when we pulled up and they were cutting them up in to filets just to try and catch up. That's how fresh it was. And the food was AMAZING! Stop here and eat!
