Quaint little coffee shop

I love this little coffee shop and try to stop in here when I'm in Oscoda. It's a "redone" small cottage, converted into a coffee shop just a block away from the beach. It has speciality coffee, desserts, scones, bagels,,etc. and also serves light lunches (homemade soup/sandwiches) They also... read more

The eastern part of Michigan, - the Lake Huron side - is quite different from it's western cousin. In my experience, there are very few truly nice hotels and in general, you get the sense that the people who come here are more grounded, more "salt of the earth". I love that. There is a downside, and that is the... More

This is a wonderful shop with great coffee and baked treats. The garden in the summer time is so beautiful.

the coffee shop is one block off of the main road but worth the extra effort to go and have a cup of coffee or a sandwich. Very cute inside, small and intimate inside. Very friendly workers and the owners make their own sweets. Sandwiches very good. Very close to Lake Huron, a nice walk to go and see the... More

My wife and I were traveling thru Oscoda during the lunch time and I looked for places to eat on my trip advisor site. It recommended this restaurant so we stopped. It is kind of hidden at the end of the street. The place is very small. But the food was very good. All of there fare is homemade and... More

Stopped by the coffee shop on two different occasions. Neat well taken care of and any type of coffee or latte you would like. Top this off with fresh naked goods and friendly staff and it makes a wonderful start to your day!

We have a summer home down the road from here and always enjoy stopping by. I understand some of the reviews that talk about them not being open and having odd hours... they do. I believe they are closed on Sundays, which would be one of their busiest days with all of the weekenders on the beach. One Saturday they... More
