The place is off to a new start at a historic location. A new chef is producing really good meals. Drinks from a poorly stocked bar are unremarkable, but they will improve. Go there to eat, not drink.

I am so happy we didn't read the previous reviews. Our dinners were delicious. The bartender was nice. A waitress that was not waiting on us cleared our table. And staff cleaning when not waiting on people. All that made for a nice evening. I had yummy whitefish with a lobster bisque sauce on the side, mashed potatoes and perfectly... More

This place is awful now! They should of paid rob the previous chef what he wanted to keep his food. Menu selection is terrible and expensive food tastes BAD! It use to be our favorite place but we will not ever go back, we go to Wilses or Tate's bill of fare and mancinos pit stop. I hope they make... More

We didn't see many other opportunities for a sit down dinner around here while on a road trip so it wasn't like we could be choosy, but I'll still only give this an Average. My burger was good, but underdone (asked for medium well and had a bunch of pink in it yet) - since it had cheese and avocado... More

Stopped by for breakfast buffet. Cost was about average. Breakfast served 100 -200. When we arrive the food was almost running out. What was there was good. Omlets were superb. Several guests were seen asking if more food was coming out. When we asked about fruit and rolls, they were out. New owners need to plan better. Four Stars before... More

The new owners should fire the chef and revamp the menu and lower the prices. Two couples went 4 out of 4 meals Bad. We stayed at Lakewood Shores Resort and went there for dinner and it was the big mistake. Don't make the same mistake you wil be disapointed

We went here for dinner with our 4 children, My husband ordered pulled pork. It cam and was almost burnt, super dry and was like pulled jerky. All our meals were kinda dry, the resuarant has no atmosphere, and it is totally overpriced.

Horrible since the new owners took over! Don't put a sign out that says new management when it is new ownership. No liquor and a horrible selection on the menu. Whitefish is boiled, not broiled, and presented on iron skillet. Chicken kids meals over cooked, and BBQ sandwiches are served on stale buns...could've eaten better at McDonalds! Won't be back... We stopped here for supper while on a road trip down Michigan's sunrise coast. We enjoyed draft beers, fried pickles, and split a chili crunch burger (1/2 pounder!) that included a side of yummy onion rings. We were each served 1/2 the burger and a LARGE 1/2 order of onion rings on separate plates-the kitchen divided the order there. So... More

It was time for a 2nd chance given the "under new management" and it was well worth it. The menu has been updated and trimmed down with a much better wine selection than previous. My husband and I were hoping for perch but it wasn't on the menu so we selected the broiled whitefish along with the crab bisque. The... More
