Great Dinner--Everything well prepared and served

We started with the mellinium soup as usual, and it was great, as usual. Not quite like anything we could get elsewhere. The salads were fresh and tasty. We both had the pan-friend walleye. This delecate fish was perfectly done and came served really hot. The veggies (string beans... read more

During the annual Bike night I was bought the rib dinner special for only 11! The ribs fell right off the bone with juicy full flavored meat. Typical baby back ribs are small and less flavorful when experienced at other locations, but these must have been slow cooked in the right amount of barbeque sauce with full flavor which was... This is a rural dumpy place with dated decor. Of course the town is small and seasonal so we didn't expect much. Service was OK,

Ugh. I expected so much more and had actually chosen to visit this place based on the reviews I read prior to the trip. The three different items we ordered were amateurishly prepared and just not good at all. And, in addition to the poor food, the waitress was nothing if not surly. The restaurant itself was pretty much empty.... More

This restaurant could be great, but they've let things go. First, Millennium soup and salad were very good. But the entrees were sad. My husband had lake perch, our local fish. We live along the shores of Lake Huron, and the perch were frozen, Waitress said that there are no fisheries nearby, yet there is a great fish market about... More

Linen tablecloths and napkins but you can "come as you are" and not feel out of place. Friendly and fast service. The perch is EXCELLENT! Good bread with honey butter brought to the table. Free parking on the street. If you are celebrating an anniversary you will be sung to and get a sundae with a spectacular sparkler. Not your... More

Food was poor to mediocre. By no stretch is this fine dining. Average cost for 2 about 60 bucks. The only good bit was the attentive server!

I was feeling great about this restaurant until the main course came, but I think I should probably just give a play by play of the courses: Bread: Maybe not technically a course, but the bread came out nice and warm, with homemade honey butter. Soup: I got the millennial soup, which is some sort of cheese based cream with... More
