I read the other reviews, stellar....that's why I went to eat there but boy, not what I imagined. The interior is tired and old, and not that cosy good kind of old but that pinkish sixties kinda old. The food was mediocre. Just because you add an "especiale" to the dish name doesn't make it great. I had chicken breast... More

The presentation is always nice, the food always delicious, and the ambience is great. Try the millennial soup!

Tait's is a great place to eat after walking the beach in Oscoda.. It is right up town and it tends to be a little bit on the pricier side, but it is worth the money! Lunch is the best, and I would take the time to recommend something, but you really can't go wrong with anything!

Tait's is not your average Oscoda fare. Delicious signature food like the Millenium Soup are a must try. We also really enjoy the London Broil and Barbeque Ribs. And their homemade butter is YUM!

This is our favorite when coming to Oscoda. Our waitress Dee was so sweet. Mr. Bill is hilarious. They treat you like family even if they met u for the first time. What a wonderful surprise when they presented us with a special 20th anniversary dessert with sparklers and all. We will be back. Thanks!

Ate here most recently on 11/7/14. The barbecue ribs and London Broil are fabulous. Great ambiance, delicious food, wonderful service at reasonable prices. Don't forget dessert. The Raspberry Cheescake Sundae is heavenly and try their house specialty, Millenium Soup. My personal favorite.

We were there on a Wednesday. The tomato soup and half sandwich were the best! The best tomato soup I have ever had!

The town is not very big, very quiet, great for a weekend get away. Stayed at The huron House bed and breakfast, and was referred to this place for dinner. Food was good, prices were great. Always enjoy supporting another small business. Would return again.
