Good quality food and service but too pricey. Favorite dish is the steak tips Convenient parking except during prime time. Very nice ambience
Dined here recently with friends and everyone was happy with their meal. 3 of the 8 of us took home some, so portions are good. My salmon with siracha cream was very good. The ambience is warm and fun. I will say though that we didn't have trouble talking across a large table but we were leaving just as it... More
We return to Stillwater Grill every few months, and have never been disappointed with the food,or service. They continue to offer a wide selection of popular meals. The ability to create your own"combo is nice. Salad and rolls also hit the spot. It is not trendy, just good food nicely prepared
We stopped here for a late lunch on a bitterly cold day. Menu: small but varied (burgers, soups, salads, chicken, beef, fish, appetizers, etc.). Food highlights: French onion soup was above average; beef dip was ample and delicious (real beef au jus); lobster bisque above average; Caesar salad average. Service: amazingly good. friendly, and attentive. Dessert: highly recommend "the gusher"... More
The Stillwater Grill is one of our favorites in the Lansing area. The food is wonderful (a bit pricey), staff is friendly and atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommended!
After arriving in the area to visit family during a power outage caused by an icestorm, we were pleased to be able to reserve for Christmas Eve dinner at this attractive restaurant. Service was good, portions were large, and they had power. My entree of pork chops was simple but perfectly prepared. My oldest son particularly enjoyed the Traverse Bay... More
Stillwater Grill is a very nice restaurant; good food and good service. Only downside would be that it can be a little pricey depending on what you are ordering. You do however, get a lot of food for what you pay for and the lunch menu seems to be quite a bit cheaper. My fiance always gets the cajun steak... More
Our first time and to the Stillwater and it certainly won't be our last. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and made some very good recommendations. The beef was awesome and so was the shrimp! The ports were ample as well. We would definitely return!
My wife and I stay at a hotel nearby while visiting our daughter at MSU and eat at Stillwater once a visit, it seems, with the most recent time in May 2013. We think it the food is very very good, and I particularly enjoyed the Cajun sirloin tips. Also their Caesar salad which accompanied the meal was excellent. I... More
our last visit was marred by overcooked fish, which to their credit they did not charge us. This time was better and the cashew salmon was excellent. Service was good and we got in right on time with a reservation. My only complaint is the wine list is very short and also overpriced. Only 2 or 3 Chardonnay selections with... More
