A delightful little restaurant in the middle of Novi. You won't find wild and new age takes on sushi in this restaurant but what you will find is authentic Japanese sushi with a wonderful ambience. Inside Ajishin is quite small which is why you want to get there early for lunch or dinner. If not, expect to wait around 30-40... More

I ve been there multiple times. Every time I went there, we were pleased with the food and the price! The udons are very affordable ranging from 6-9$ and the noodle is chewy!! The only downside is there is a long waiting line if you go there in prime time. It could be 45 mins long. What we do to... More

This is where the large Japanese population in Novi goes for real Udon noodles and fresh sushi. The only downside is the wait -- it's cozy inside and deservedly popular.

Whenever you visit this restaurant, you will have to wait at least 30 mins or more. Udon in Ajishin is so much better than any other Japanese restaurant. Whenever I visit Detroit, I always try to visit this restaurant.

For a Japanese restaurant having bad service yes believe or not. They have enough waiters but they are so inefficient. Surprisingly also lacking courtesy. Not coming back.

Authentic Japanese food, the staff is super friendly and the food is amazing, the place is too small and sometimes you have to wait a long time but it's well worth it

I was in town for business and wanted sushi. I pulled up the local restaurant ratings sites, and this place consistenly was rated as one of the best in the area. When I arrived, I had to double check... its an unassuming restaurant with minimal face located in a dingy strip mall. The inside of the restaurant is clearly budget... More

I did not like the 30 minutes wait for a table. From there on, everything is perfect. The waitresses so kind with us. Food options unlimited. My numbermone favorite is the Ajishin Soup, which really works even in a summer evening. I cannot help going back again and again to this place

Small place in the corner of a generic plaza that serves amazing noodle dishes and competent sushi at affordable prices. Can get crowded get there at opening or after the opening crowd is done (about hour and a half after opening).

I like to try new things when I travel. I saw this pop up on Yelp as one of the best places to try. Awesome Udon and sushi! We sat right in front of the sushi chef and had some great food. I got the Ajishin udon - awesome. The only challenge was one of our team members was a... More
