This restaurant is great for large groups. Rather than ordering separate dishes you order bigger dishes for everyone to share: family style! The brick on the inside is full of signatures, which is always fun to stare at and gives the restaurant a homey feel.

We went here for a company Christmas party in December 2013. We were seating in the basement, which was really nice, brick on all the walls. I think it's what they call a "michigan basement". It was a cute little place. The server were nice and on top of things. The food was delicious and there was a lot of... More

I have had Genitti's cater small parties for me three times now and I will never go anywhere else. The food is so good, and my guests always rave about it. Plus they are very affordable and I can feed more people from here then other places I have tried in the past. Their portion sizes are very generous. The... More

Family style is really fun for the whole table. We got to meet and chat with other parties. The sausage and peppers were excellent, the pasta was fantastic but it went quickly. The comedy show was great! I've been to comedy theaters in Royal Oak/Ferndale that weren't as good. The people who are complaining must not be familiar with the... More

We were on our 30th anniversary trip to Michigan, where we were married. We had eaten dinner at Genitti's the night of our wedding and hadn't been back since. The restaurant is unique in that the meals are served family style at large tables. We sat with two other very nice couples that we met at the table. Dinner consisted... More

We went to see Jasen Magic and booked a table for 6. I had already told them there was a veggie in the group and was told no problem. We arrived and were told which table to sit at. Soon after the food was served and every other table got the soup and bread and we got nothing! No one... More

Our introduction to Genitti's was a stop on a tour. They fed fifty some of use family style very efficiently. Every dish was a delight. Everyone on the tour agreed. After dinner we were treated to a fun filled show in a very nice theater in the building. All-in-all it was a very enjoyable evening.

I have had dinner here three times in the past month! Each time bartender was fantastic and the food was delicious! Excellent Italian dishes!

We were recently at a catered event with their food and it was dreadful...tons of left over food because everyone agreed (and there were a lot of hungry people-big eater types present). Amazing they can stay in business due to the food alone...also, the reputation of the place as mentioned in other reviews has been here since we moved here... More

The dinner served family style is very mediocre and the show is amateur at best. $49.95 is a very expensive price to pay for a dinner show where the food probably cost less than $5. per person.
