Excellent overall with consistently great appetizers and entrees. Service is as good as it gets. The owner is always on-site and active.

We recently enjoyed a nice date-night dinner at Table 5 - our first time there - and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is nicely situated in a sharply renovated, historic building in the center of Northville. The service was top-notch all around, including Brian at the bar, and our server Phil, who was very nice and quite knowledgable. We ended... More

Delightful and delicious before a play in town. Also wonderful, innovative wine tastings once a month, paired with small plates. So popular now, we can't get in!!! Give it a go, then peruse the downtown of Northville.

It's not too often that I rate a restaurant Excellent in all catergories, and last night I found a restaurant that earned five stars ! Located on Main Street right downtown in Northville, MI, I was referred to Table 5 by a very good friend. We had a birthday occasion to celebrate, so the four of us were seated at... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Detroit area. The food is sophisticated and well executed. I recently ordered grilled Scottish salmon with a medley of artichokes, fennel, arugula, new potatoes and horseradish creme fraiche. Every bite was balanced and tasty but a different combination of flavors. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed.... More

We've been here several times and the food is superb. Our last visit was a wine tasting, paired with a 5 course meal, which they do the first or second Monday of the month. It's an excellent value, around $30 for 5 half-glasses of wine plus the meal, but the portions are small. For the women in our party, it... More

Very considerate, friendly, warm service. We were drenched and shivering from walking through a semi blizzard from the parking to the restaurant and the gentleman actually brought us each cups of hot water to wrap out fingers around to get warm. Unbelievable? Believe it. I love this place. The food is always exquisite and this time was no different. Excellent... More

There's a cozy feel when you enter by the bar where I had a lovely Lemon Drop Martini. We sat at the "kitchen table" which is an elevated booth between the bar and kitchen. It was quieter than the main dining room that is both contemporary and cozy with it's brick walls and bold art. Our server was perfectly attentive,... More

What was until early 2008 the very popular brick-walled café, Mackinnon's of Northville, is now the home of 'Table 5', opened in late 2008 by Mishelle Lussier and her husband, John. While I was very sad to see proprietor Tom Mackinnon's place closed, 'Table 5' get a '5 Star' applause from my tastebuds! This was our second time at Table... More
