Friendly service and food was decent, very home cooked. 3 course set meal which was good value for money! Mrs had the Duck and I had the Fillet Beef with a Karaf of Red. Was also given Amuse Bouche! Enjoyable and Decent Value

Enjoyed lunch at this delightful spot just as Thursday market was winding down. Small but cosy, with tables on the terrace and inside. Vegetarian mini raviolis w/a light butter/cream sauce topped with summer truffles! Frozen parfait with coffee sauce for dessert - every bite was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Aperitif of olives was a nice touch. Friendly, attentive service. Would... More

We had dinner here on our first night in Goult and it was one of the best meals we had whilst in France. Both the owner and waitress were very friendly and helpful and assisted us to understand the French menu. The food was simple but so fresh and bursting with flavour. Thank you for such a lovely meal.

We came here after we found that the Bartavelle was fully booked and Aux Fines Herbes although really busy as well were able to accommodate us. The food was good and the waiting staff very friendly (even though they were swamped at times). Would definitely come back here.

We had lunch here in mid june and the kids had the mini ravioli with half a summer truffle shaved over the sauce which was excellent as we had to help our daughter finish the dish! The waitress was great and a bit of a character.the kids also got an excellent chocolate mousse for dessert, we went for the menu... More

We stopped in Goult on May 20th and had lunch at Aux Fines Herbes. Excellent presentation and food. Plat du jour was a chicken tajine. We were going to eat at the Cafe Poste which was closed. Apparently a husband and wife operation, like so many small restaurants. Quiet village with only 2-3 places open for lunch. We made a... More

We had tiny ravioli filled with chard or spinach and folded into a very light cream sauce. The shaved truffles elevated the dish from delicious to sublime. The vegetables in the accompanying salad tasted like they'd just been picked, they were so flavorful. Lettuces, julienned carrots, toasted nuts, and a balanced vinaigrette. Wonderful flavors, highly recommend.

We went to Goult fully expecting to have a light lunch at Cafe Poste which was closed - thankfully as it meant we tried Restaurant Aux Fines Herbes. The restaurant is recently remodelled & it's modern & so clean - the toilet was impeccable ! It was physically comfortable (good chairs) & service was charming. The food was delicious -... More
