Restaurant Sous Les Micocouliers is a charming location in Eygalieres. We dined at night but it has a courtyard which assuredly is very well used during the day. The interior is attractive, warm and comfortable. Service was very good and helpful. Everyone in our group very much enjoyed their selections (all chose menu). We were able to enjoy the evening... Food was fantastic. Set menu provided lovely food at a very reasonable price. Staff lovely and take the time to talk and build a relationship with you. Have been twice this week. Definitely recommend. Our waiter was Fabian and was one of the best.. Very lucky to have been served by him. Thanks so much.

Eygalieres is a beautiful small village near St. Remy (van Gogh's refuge) that has attracted a small colony of American residents, who know a good thing when they find it. For such a tiny place it is blessed with an abundance of good restaurants. Under the Micocoulier trees is surely one of the best, not just in town but in... More

My daughter and I enjoyed a classic French meal at this village restaurant. The service was friendly and professional. It was a little rainy that night, so we sat inside in a beautiful dining room, instead of in the large outdoor courtyard. This is not a place for small children. It seemed too formal for that. But I think age... More

Our group sat down at the table we reserved but the parasol was not big enough to give all shade. We were immediately moved to a better position without any fuss. Much has improved since we were last here. The service is more than correct. The Cuvee Ludovic and Dacla RG were reasonably priced of the best local wines. The... More

This trip was my first to Eygalieres, but surely not my last. For a small village to have not one but two first class restaurants, even in France, was such a treat. Everything that our party of four ordered was delicious, beautifully presented with the ingredients chosen with care. The large airy dining room adds to the overall pleasure of... More

I say 'our experience' because I don't want to go overboard, and others may not strike this restaurant on one of its top days, as we did, but all we can say is that it was absolutely marvellous when I had my 70th birthday lunch. Indeed, one of the best meals I've had in my life. I count myself lucky.... More

It's been a while since we've eaten here, but decided to drop in for lunch, and found it very enjoyable. There have been a number of changes since we were here last, the old dining room has been redone with a modern bar and adjacent seating, and an airy salon added for indoor dining. Dining on the outdoor terraces has... More

I think I was in a minority in my group of 8, but I found the meal just acceptable. The first course of mixed vegetable dishes was by far the best thing anyone had at the table, and the restaurant would merit a 4-rating if all that followed had been up to that standard. My Mont Ventoux pork loin, while... More

I'm stayin en Provençe since 3 days ago and I didn't have a really good meal till this night. The ambience is pretty nice, Provençal and chic. The plus was the food. I had a mix of entree and each was interesting and lovable. The surprise came with the main course...it was Le fantastique "Taureau de Camargue en gardianne". A... More
