Nice relaxed lunch at a reasonable price

We had lunch in the lovely courtyard, all members of our party had an assiette mixed dish which was light and delicious. They gave us a choice of meat / fish / vegetarian ( the latter a big and welcome surprise, I had come to believe eating meat is compulsory in all french restaurants). All washed... read more

We have been here before, back in the summer of 2009, recommended by people we were staying with, and then enjoyed the dinner there very much. Returning in September this year, the food, the wine and the staff were all as good as we remember from the summer of 2009. All there is to say, you will not be disappointed... More

We met friends to enjoy a wonderful lunch here on the patio. The service was perfect, quiet but on top of each need. The Menu du Jour offered everything you would want and more. The dishes were present on slate tiles. We drank wines from Provence with the recommendation of the server. Perfect weather, good friends and a wonderful meal.... More

During our stay at Eygalieres, we had lunch at the restaurant twice. Idyllic setting. The staff are charming. The food is well prepared. And the wines are reasonably priced. Really pleasant sitting under the trees on a summer's day. Of all the restaurants we ate at in the area, this one was our clear favourite. I would definitely recommend it.... More

We have looked at this restaurant on several occasions during our years exploring Provence and this year we took the plunge. What a delight! From the moment we were shown to our table in the tree lined courtyard it was evident that we had picked a winner. The three young people who served us knew their stuff and were totally... More

We came here on our first night in Eygalieres after just walking off the street. Our party of 6 was seated on an outdoor table amongst a beautiful setting of trees and lights. The service by Fabien was great - he was good fun, spent time explaining the menu to us and even gave us a few tips for things... More

We visited the place twice and every time is was very good (Menu Matisse). Friendly and efficient service, fair prices and a beautiful setting. Especially the assortment of starters from the market we liked very well. Already looking forward to return next year.

A nice outdoor dining area, good reviews and a menu in English - what could go wrong? A maggot in my starter (we don't know what that is, but we will replace it sir) a friendly French waitress who clearly struggled with the English menu (two lobsters and a steak turned into turbot), a wine waiter who forgot to give... Restaurant Sous Les Micocouliers is a charming location in Eygalieres. We dined at night but it has a courtyard which assuredly is very well used during the day. The interior is attractive, warm and comfortable. Service was very good and helpful. Everyone in our group very much enjoyed their selections (all chose menu). We were able to enjoy the evening...
