A full house.

We dined here for dinner on three nights. The hotel and restaurant is situated in a location that encourages the customers to dine there. I liked the menu. One could order a al carte or full menu or three or four course menu or just appetizer and main dish or main dish and cheese or dessert. I... read more

We had two dinners here while staying at the attached hotel. The food was excellent -- in flavor, presentation and composition. Ingredients were fresh, from the area, and perfectly prepared. The service was efficient and friendly.

Stumbled upon this place on the road to the coast. Loved the look from the outside and the inside lives up to it. Altough it looked very exclusive and private (most people eating here are also staying here) there was no problem finding us a table for 2. Food was excellent, menu nice enough and service was proper although they... More

Fabulous two meals here overa weekend. Stunning value at €43 for 7 courses. Highlight was the Sorbet in local cider brandy......holy moly.....what a blast between starter and main!

This stone enchantment makes you feel you've been transported to ancient France. The gardens are delightful as well as the atmosphere. Our lunch was excellent, especially the appetizer of warm Camembert cheese and the dessert selection. House wines very adequate for the table, too. We'll be back!

Loved the look and feel of the restaurant. Dined the evening we stayed at the property. Thought the meal was average. I had the sole and it was overcooked and drowing in butter. My wife had the duo of fish. Very bland. The mushroom cream sauce was the best part of the dish. The apple tart with salted carmel ice... More

Food was very good with the exception of the vegetables which were overcooked. Waiters were very helpful with translations.

Dinner was excellent: sophisticated, interesting, plentiful (esp the local cheese), and presented beautifully. The service was terrific, too. What a nice surprise. Exceeded many Paris meals later on our trip.

We were just delighted to find that the farm we were staying at -- La Ranconniere hotel, an 18th century Norman farm -- had a fancy little restaurant with top flight food. Gorgeously composed dishes, great wine list, fabulous camembert. Customers had driven in from all around the area. The menu changes regularly and service was excellent as well.

Just spent a pleasant evening at the above, even after the attitude of the Head Waiter. All the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. He had an attitude that might have been triggered by the fact that I don't take alcohol. My wife speaks French well enough to get by but rather than what we have found on... More
