Perfect atmosphere, great meal.

This stone enchantment makes you feel you've been transported to ancient France. The gardens are delightful as well as the atmosphere. Our lunch was excellent, especially the appetizer of warm Camembert cheese and the dessert selection. House wines very adequate for the table, too. We'll be back!

Loved the look and feel of the restaurant. Dined the evening we stayed at the property. Thought the meal was average. I had the sole and it was overcooked and drowing in butter. My wife had the duo of fish. Very bland. The mushroom cream sauce was the best part of the dish. The apple tart with salted carmel ice... More

Food was very good with the exception of the vegetables which were overcooked. Waiters were very helpful with translations.

Dinner was excellent: sophisticated, interesting, plentiful (esp the local cheese), and presented beautifully. The service was terrific, too. What a nice surprise. Exceeded many Paris meals later on our trip.

We were just delighted to find that the farm we were staying at -- La Ranconniere hotel, an 18th century Norman farm -- had a fancy little restaurant with top flight food. Gorgeously composed dishes, great wine list, fabulous camembert. Customers had driven in from all around the area. The menu changes regularly and service was excellent as well.

Just spent a pleasant evening at the above, even after the attitude of the Head Waiter. All the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. He had an attitude that might have been triggered by the fact that I don't take alcohol. My wife speaks French well enough to get by but rather than what we have found on... More

Great service. Great presentation. Great ambiance. Can't speak to every dish on the menu but the seafood was great. Great place to spend a slow, relaxing, de stressing evening in a historical, authentic environment. If you are tired of chain restaurants, this is a good antidote. Some parking in the courtyard near the restaurant but there is a lot more... More

Took a tour of Normandy and this was where we stopped for lunch. Generally the lunches on these tours consist of bland food and poor service but this was quite the exception. First, it's in a XIII-XIV century chateau that is just charming. They also have a hotel so will be checking that out on my next visit. Second, the... More

We ate there twice. Several of the dishes were very good, but one duck main course was overdone and rather tough. We told the waiter, who was not interested. The service could have been more attentive.
