A great little find and on our doorstep!

Having just recently moved to the area, we have been checking out the local restaurants. This is a typical Logis restaurant - good food, pleasant service and relatively easy on the wallet (depending on your choice of wine - the owner was a former sommelier and therefore the wine list is extensive... read more

Having just recently moved to the area, we have been checking out the local restaurants. This is a typical Logis restaurant - good food, pleasant service and relatively easy on the wallet (depending on your choice of wine - the owner was a former sommelier and therefore the wine list is extensive but certainly not overpriced. As it was a special... More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of friends and were not disappointed! We didn't book but arrived early and got a table . Over the next hour the place filled up and in the summer I would certainly book rather than risk it. We chose the 22 euro menu - 3 courses with 3 choices at each course. Roquefort... More

I went to this restaurant for the first time for Easter Sunday lunch and groaned on arrival. There was a large party of perhaps 30 people in one part of the restaurant and I feared we would not get served and everything would take for ever. Instead, it was a great meal with good service. I went for the gourmet... More

We went with friends for a wine tasting with food experience, having previously eaten here before the food never disappoints. Some different food combinations but great to try something different. Our menu contained 6 courses & 7 different wines to taste with coffee for €36pp with brief description of each wine in french of course. For anyone who enjoys good... More

Having eaten here five or six times, I can say that the food is always of a consistently high standard with great use of locally sourced ingredients, often a choice of beef, duck and veal. The charcuterie board as a starter is always popular with the younger members of the party with a great selection of pates and sausages. The... More

Turning up on the off chance, we had not made a booking and were delighted with the welcome we received. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and immediately found us a nice table (for the four of us). We ate from the five course set menu and the food was extremely good as was the service. Our French is... More

Having read wonderful reviews of this restaurant, my husband and I decided to try it out. We were ignored for 15 mins, then the hostess begrudgingly gave us five seconds of her time. I asked for a table and got a lot of fast French thrown back at me which I couldn't understand. I politely explained we were English, hoping... More

Just a quick review to say if you get fed up of the food in Cordes, it's worth taking a trip up to the gorgeous village of Najac, and visiting this restaurant while you're at it. We had the midday menu (€13 for four courses!) and found the food delicious and the service delightful.

I can really only echo the earlier reviews in that this is a great find in a small rural village. We ate there this week and opted for the set menu lunch which was amazing in quality and quantity. The lunch set menu (menu de jour) provided us with 5 quality and plentiful courses as well as a small carafe... More

We turned up, without a reservation, for dinner on a Wednesday night. We were lucky to be offered one of only two unreserved tables in the outdoor seating area - it is rightly a popular restaurant. The food was well cooked and delicious, with some quirky "fine dining" presentation. The roquefort and nut salad was wonderful, and the confit duck... More
