Ideal location with exceptional food

Ideally located near the quay side with a verandah for outside dining. The formula of the day on first glance appeared to be expensive, however, not only was the choice extensive but wine was included, which made the overall experience very reasonable. The quality of the food was exceptional. My... read more

The formula of the day on first glance appeared to be expensive, however, not only was the choice extensive but wine was included, which made the overall experience very reasonable. The quality of the food was exceptional. My only gripe which dampened the experience was the waitress who... More

We had lunch here with friends (who are locals) and we picked the menu du jour which was both very affordable (EUR 25) and more importantly delicious. Local fare (merlu fish, Paimpol white bean both whole and in a mousse, rhubarb) and elaborate but simple cuisine, the perfect combination. Service was not exactly expeditious but this was in the middle... More

The chic decor and sophisticated menu promised a lot. Though good, it didn't quite deliver enough. Great setting if the weather is good enough to eat on the terrace. Certainly worth a visit.

We returned here as we have previously enjoyed it. The only difference being there was 7 of us this time. Due to the size of our party we could not be seated outside as there were many tables already taken. In hindsight we could have split up and put our 3 teenagers on a separate table! The food lived up... More

Decided to stop off here for Lunch enroute to Roscoff for Ferry back to Ireland. Excellent choice, really delicious Plat du jour, amazing asparagus veloute with little dollops of wild garlic oil and saussison, followed by beautifully cooked cod and baby potatoes with a buerre noisette. Charming staff, highly recommend

We had previously visited Locquirec in February 2014 and most places were closed. We visited again at the beginning of June and had lunch here which was a lovely surprise. It was a beautiful sunny day so we sat outside on the terrace overlooking the little harbour. We had the menu du jour for 25 euros which also included two... More

We went for Sunday lunch, so it wasn't cheap, but the food was excellent- beautifully cooked and presented, and excellent quality. We were offered an amuse bouche to start, and little home made sweets to finish. Two of our party had the seafood platter, which was generous, and the spider crab was perfectly cooked. I had the fish of the... More

We called in for lunch and had 2 courses and a glass of wine each. Service was a little on the slow side as the waitress was on her own and it was fairly busy despite being out of season. The food was very good. We would go back.

This is a delightful place to enjoy a beautiful meal and enjoy a lovely view of the harbour. We were provided with nibbles before our starter, and could not fault the food or the service. It's not cheap, but reflects the quality.

Ate here two years ago and didn't enjoy it despite great location and limited competition. Locals encouraged us to try again under its new management and this was good advice. Nouvelle cuisine, lots of imagination and originality in flavors and presentation. Affordable wine list. Deserves its two Michelin forks (NB a long way from a star, cf.Toni175 review) for EUR...
