Good and Very Popular

This place has a very good fan base as evidenced by a waiting line early in the week (Tuesday) in early May. Can only imagine what it must be like on weekends and summertime. Plan ahead is my best suggestion. Food and service are quite good. I had a combo dinner of BBQ ribs and salmon. They offer... read more

I have been to HOBO'S RESTAURANT several times & have even referred others there but after this past week & have heard of the treatment my granddaughter received, my choice of restaurants have now changed. She was a new employee of approximately 8 weeks, worked without complaints even though she was treated rudely by the manager, who also hired her.... More

Had a late lunch there, found it by accident. Fried asparagus was delicious. Had a speciality burger which was cooked as requested. Nice atmosphere good service & lots of menu choices. Beer on draft, waitress was informative & friendly. Would go back if in the area.

Hobo's seems to be always updating their menu, and the chicken chipotle sandwich with sweet potato fries I had the other night was an excellent addition. The service is good, the atmosphere is nice and in the summer, nothing beats a cold beer out on their back patio - one of the few choices for dining al fresco in Muskegon.

On a drive back to Holland from Ludington we we're looking for a place to have a little late lunch. We found Hobo's Tavern on Trip Advisor and stopped. It was about 3 pm on a Saturday and we walked right in. Our server was very nice and we enjoyed a perch sandwich and a perch Reuben, one with onion... More

We had some of the best fish and potatoes at the Hobo. Parmesan cheese and crunchy bits covered the fish, hot and flaky on the inside. Seasoned fries were crisp and plentiful, and a fresh salad with a tasty dressing. Very long wait for a table, service was spotty, but on the whole, worth the wait. Not cheap and not... More

I've been here for lunch and dinner and can totally recommend this place for either one. The food is very good and the service is exceptional. You cannot go wrong at Hobos.

A group for work went to hobos, about ten, for lunch. We had made reservations and were seated promptly. The servers are always very attentive. I had grilled chicken salad. Greens were fresh and chicken tasty. Size was more than enough for lunch. Others in the group had cheese stuffed burgers. All liked them. Menu has variety- burgers, wraps, salads,... More

We had a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it! Great service and food! Atmosphere about as good as it gets along the lakeshore in the dead of winter!
