The best bet at Hobo's is to sit at the bar and order the beef tenderloin special. It's only available at the bar and, if they get back to procuring the cuts they once used in this special, it's very good. (Of late they've been serving smaller medallions rather than a quality filet mignon cut. OK but a less special... More

Hobo's Tavern is a very nice and clean place to eat dinner with your family or makes a perfect start to a date night with that someone special. They have a great menu, a friendly staff, it is very clean and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend it if you are visiting the area, and did I mention the food is... More

Definitely will return. Food and service were excellent. Wasn't sure as it was a Friday night but we were seated immediately and food arrived just as quickly.

1st time back in a year, and much has changed. Filet has become filet(s) which means that a 6oz piece becomes 2 3oz pieces, and they are so small that it renders it filet-less. Hard to sear a 3oz piece of meat to med-rare without overlooking, so it doesn't get seared, it gets boiled. The FFries are stock GFS crinkle... More

Went to hobos tonight and enjoyed a simple bar steak dinner. A little over cooked ... Easy to do with 2-3oz filet mignons. Broccoli cooked very well. My favorite item is the peanut butter chocolate chip pie. This is worth the whole visit!!! The bartenders are very efficient, bright, smiles, and aim to please! Variety of beers, wines and well... We were guests of a good friend and she introduced us to the "Bar steak" at Hobo's. Two three ounce filet of beef medallions, one side for 12.95 with option for sautéed fresh mushrooms and/or onions for another 1.50 each. The steaks were cooked to perfection and we really enjoyed our meal.

We were very shock when we register with the hostess that it would be about a 10 minute wait on a Friday night at 5:30. They got us in, we order a beer and glass of wine, the wait for the meal was alittle long than normal but they were busy. The place is noisy with chatter, poor sound proofing... More

We came with or family and they were pleased with their food. However I had perches and French fries that were So-so. Excellent service.
