perfect lunch spot

Small but wonderful place for a nice lunch. The staff is super friendly and the sandwiches are to die for. The burts Beach is most certainly my favorite.

On a recommendation on a recent visit to Muskegon MI I decided to try this hidden gem. So glad I did. The variety of options is amazing, the meat is piled high and bread is soft and fresh, They use Boars Head meats and are not cheap with the meat!! There is plenty of toppings and fillings offered, and because... More

We ate at this nice little hole in the wall joint and loved it. They had my favorite chips (Zapps) and a great sandwich to go with it. The place is off the beaten path but was worth the effort to find it. There is not a great deal of seating inside, but they had a high chair for our... More

Fresh food, but kind of pricey. Bread is multi grain bread that can be purchased at the grocery store. Some sandwiches have toasted versions, which they toast the bread, not the whole sandwich. It appears to be a three person operation, so there is a bit of a wait. Seating area and entire restaurant is very small. I wouldn't go... More

Creative ingredients and names for each sandwich. Their buns and bread are a great balance for the meat and cheese inside. It is always great to see their food truck at local events. I highly recommend the How Now Brown Cow.

Since my first first over a year ago I have always had great service and not one bad sub. My favorite sub is the "fatty" and it never disappoints.

Everything they serve is fresh and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you pick. My personal favorites are the Chicken Salad and the Reubens. They also have great side dishes in their deli case daily. You need to check them out!!

Mighty good food in a tiny place. These folks know how to make a sandwich with the insides all the way to the edges. You get the entire experience in every single bite. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, it's well worth a couple extra blocks for a very good meal.

I love fatty Lumpkin's, one of my favorite restaurants in Muskegon. The owners and other staff are always friendly and the service is quick. I love that they also have a food truck that you will see at most Muskegon events.
