The location and the atmosphere here are very nice. Your direct view is boats and the marina, rather than straight out over the water, which is what I was expecting, but it was still very nice. The food was uneven. I had crab stuffed shrimp which sounded great from reading the menu, but they came with a sort of gloppy... More

beautiful views of the sunset over the water. Outside eating area with entertainment. Food was good although it surprised me that it was sort of gourmet - I didn't expect that on the Marina. Excellent desserts

Sunny evening is a great time to dine at Lake House Restaurant. Food is good and service was excellent. The chopped salad with calamari was excellent and huge. Don't expect the best food you have ever had, but the setting and service make up for the average food. Great spot to dine in Muskegan.

The food is to die for! It is definitely worth the upscale price. I spent my anniversary dinner there with my wife; the atmosphere was more casual than we would have preferred (the staff is dressed in t-shirts and docker shorts), but the food is otherwise fantastic. We had the Jumbo Scallops and the Mango Salmon; we cannot recommend them... More

Had a sunday evening dinner in Lake House and really enjoyed it! Restaurant is facing the harbour, and having a big terrace facing lake Michigan. Large choice of meat and fish, large choice of beers. Service is very friendly: price around 40$ / pers. To be recommended if you are in the area!

The patio seating offered excellent views of the marina and lake. The server was great at providing insight as to dinner options according to various preferences and appeared knowledgeable of menu choices. She suggested the Lake House Salad, which was outstanding! The clam chowder soup was also delicious. The soup bowl portion was 10 oz. and filled me up. The... More

My husband and I were traveling the coastline and just got lucky finding this spot. We had a wonderful lunch and beautiful views.

If you want fantastic ambiance then definitely head to Lake House and sit outside. (in the Summer of course). Probably not a better place for this in all of Muskegon except for perhaps Dockers. If it is great food you are looking for keep on driving. We had six in our party and the service was just fine. The Jimmy... More

We (ages 6 to 67) stopped in on a whim because we wanted a nice early dinner with a nice water view. The place was quite empty so we were surprised when the hostess said, "we can seat you but the table does have a reservation in 2.5 hrs." No worries....we decided she just didn't want us to feel rushed... More

The Lake House is very good, no doubt about it - we just had a waitress who was a little rough, but not so bad that the meal wasn't excellent.
