Nice restaurant on the lake!

I love the view of Muskegon Lake from the large windows at Fricano's. The pizzas here are small, so order one/person. The menu at Fricano's is nice and simple, and the service is great. Be sure to save room for dessert at the Pinchtown ice cream shop just below.

I will start by saying while there pizza is unique, it is also very expensive. Fricano's serves pizza and beverages, that is all. Your topping choices are limited to sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, or anchovies. The crust is paper thin, and 1 person can typically eat an entire pizza. It tends to be VERY greasy. The prices start with a... More

After years of hearing about the place we found them open on a rare Saturday afternoon. The place was very busy but the service was OK and friendly. Was greeted nicely by a hostess and seated immediately. As for what's on the menu all that we had to go on was what's printed on the placemat. The bar selections were... More

Terrible service, very rude. Do not bring a group here. Brought out of town youth hockey team with reservation for 40 for youth and parents. Provided with one wait staff, after 1.5 hours no food. Complained to Mr. Fricano and he requested we leave which we respectively did.

If you like thin crust pizza with great quality ingredients you can not bet Fricano's!. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Good wine selection.

Everybody rates this place as best Pizza in Muskegon. It is just Okay Pizza. Takes forever to get pies and only get 5 items on pies.

I prefer his Mom's place in Grand Haven for the subtle difference in taste, and the huge difference in grease. Ted has refined the "family recipe" to accommodate the middle-of-the-road taste buds. The service is pure Fricano's. Attentive, precise. Great view of Muskegon Lake. It's a must have every 90-days or so. Anymore than that and your asking for angioplasty.

Fricanos is that unique place where you can have a dinner, birthday party or wedding reception and know that you will walk away satisfied. Simple menu and unique pizza has made the Fricano's name a common word amongst locals. If you haven't been there then you need to make the trip.

I have been eating this pizza since 1956. Fricano's pizza was the first pizza place in Western Michigan, originating in Grand Haven. Ted Fricano operates the restaurant in Muskegon. True to the family tradition they use only five ingredients on a thin crust. Pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper, fresh sausage and anchovies or any combination thereof with a mixture of mozzarella... I have been enjoying Fricanos Pizza for many years. It never changes because it doesn't have to. You either love it or you don't. It has been and still is my all time favorite pizza in Muskegon and they have some stiff competition. Thin, thin crust, very little if any sauce, wonderful sausage. I order mine deluxe NO ANCHOVIES with... More
