Great Restaurant at fair prices

I had Escargots (snails) followed by the best Filet Mignon of my life! They are just great in what they do, a mixture of tradition and gourmet. The have very high standards. The open wines were also very good, I had a great Pinot blanc. Service is very friendly and efficient. The design of the... read more

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and made a reservation via email. When our Backroads bike group visited Ribeauvillé in June 2015, we had a chance to see if all the prior reviews proclaiming the restaurant's excellence were true. They are. Claudine was our server and she recommended a very nice muscat to start followed by a pinot gris.... More

Found this restaurant on Tripadvisor . It is a little walk away from the main street but the food, service and atmosphere is wonderful!¨The manageress explained everything in English- the choices were superb, with set menus at 29.50 and 39.50 and also a là Carte to choose from. We had snails and duck terrine as starters, guinea fowl and cod... More

A place to go. A little offsite of the touristy centre of Ribeauviller you find a nice place with local kitchen and interior that offers a great menue for comparably small money. I would come again.

Stumbled into the restaurant whilst on a wine tour through the town. Hearty and seasonal fare served simply, but filled with flavor. Manager really went out of her way to make us feel welcome, explaining the menu in English where our French let us down. Compact but good wine list. Great authentic experience, without the feeling that we were being... More

Exceeded my expectations by a ton! A few excellent points: -my email to make a reservation was replied within a day (maybe because I emailed in French) -once I stepped into the restaurant, the proprietress welcomed me in without me saying a word (perhaps because I was the only Asian)! Service was attentive, excellent and friendly. She explained the whole... More

This restaurant was the first one recommended by our hotel and we could see why. Food and service were both excellent with a good selection of wines. Between the four of us we had fish, veal and venison. All were outstanding, with flavorful sauces. You are paying a little more than most restaurants in the area but it was worth... More

I ate here with my 3 brothers on a walking week's holiday in the Vosges. I highly recommend it - the food was delicious (I had venison in a stunning dark gamey sauce) and the staff were excellent. They even had a menu in English. Good local food, good local wine, helpful staff, who could ask for more?

A very quaint looking restaurant recommended by the hotel, turned out to be absolutely little gem. the food was delicious, (entree of melon prawn and prosciutto, lamb for a main and cheese for dessert). the Jean-Sipp Pinot noir was lovely, ambience cute, staff sensational . would definitely go back.

Very friendly and not overly formal service, makes you feel at ease immediately. The presentation of the dishes is done creatively and with diligence and the flavours and combination of ingredients were great. All cooking times were well respected. Clearly the Chef knows his business. The Riesling housewine is of remarkable quality. A must-visit in Ribeauville for everyone, who takes... More
