While we had our bike trip through beautiful Elsass we had lunch at La Flammerie. We had Salads with ham, melon and goose liver which was very good, staff was doing it's job.

We are here and there was a great atmosphere but sadly the food was only average. I had the duck and it was spoiled by a rather thick package type sauce and my partner had the steak which was tasty but tough. We bought a half bottle of Pinot but all the other people were drinking carafes and prob better... More

If you are looking for authentic Alsatian cuisine this place is a good choice. If you are seeking French food go elsewhere. We are here on the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel. We asked for a good local restaurant in town that serves dishes of the area. He was right The food was delicious and staff was... More

Unfortunately the food ordered was average - my steak and chips were fine, nothing exceptional but my husband ordered something that we could only describe as Viking food. Heavy potato and pastry with no flavor. Shocking. Service was ok, food awful. Not French, very German.

If quantity equals quality, then this is the place to go. And many visitors to Ribeauville actually go there. So maybe we already had eaten our share of heavy Alsatian food with local Pinot Noir. The service was not accomodating when we came in later in the evening to taste a dessert with a glass of wine. We were denied... More

We had a good dinner on the terrace. Enjoyed flam's and choucroute. Service was ok. Toilets are cleaned. I am always disappointed when I cannot get a wifi access ....

Popular with locals and tourists alike. A lovely restaurant, pleasant space to be in and great service. We shared a flambee and a choucroute and both were excellent. Try the craft beer from Strasbourg and the riesling from Caves de Ribeauville.

Definitely a touristic place, you can eat very fast and the quantities are decent for sure. Still, I would say that the meals were not particularly tasteful and the wine selection average. Not necessarily the right choice if you are looking for quality rather than quantity.

Five of us went here on a cold February night and had a terrific time. The decor is quaint and cosy and the gentleman who served us was efficient, friendly and gracious. The meno is traditionally Alsace and relatively limited, but if you like a combination of potatoes, cheese, ham hock, smoked meats and sausage plus sauerkraut then you will... More
