A memorable evening and for the right reasons

Five of us went here on a cold February night and had a terrific time. The decor is quaint and cosy and the gentleman who served us was efficient, friendly and gracious. The meno is traditionally Alsace and relatively limited, but if you like a combination of potatoes, cheese, ham hock, smoked... read more

Definitely a touristic place, you can eat very fast and the quantities are decent for sure. Still, I would say that the meals were not particularly tasteful and the wine selection average. Not necessarily the right choice if you are looking for quality rather than quantity.

OK food and large quantities, like everywhere we ate. Wine list was disappointing and service lukewarm at best.

The food and regional wine were very good. The waiter was friendly and graciously spoke English. They also serve food later than the other restaurants in the area.

Recommended by our hotel and easy to see why. Tasty food and very good sized portions with reasonable prices. Did not try the starters as it was late for our young daughter, but the main courses were fantastic: special of grilled duck breast and steak (duo grillade) and local 3 meats with choucroutte were both excellent. Good childrens menu options,... More

The food here was all delicious and some of the food available was traditional pizza, duck pattee, potato pie with munster cheese and fillet of duck with plums and a sweat and sour sauce. all great food plus good service and a reasonable price for the meals

This was by far the worst service ever. We have dined around the world and had very few difficulties, ever..... We arrived when they opened at 6:30 and everyone was very hungry. My husband is diabetic so he ordered his appetizer and entree and the rest of us ordered our appetizers. The lady screamed at us and said we needed... More

We stayed for a week in Ribeauville, and the wife cooked every night except one. She created a lot of excellent meals, from produce bought in the town. This night was the one exception, and we chose the restaurant by looking at the menu (and by having a beer in there the night before). A restaurant that offers a range... More

If you like pork, sauerkraut, and food swimming in sauce, then you'll like this place. Probably the best German cuisine. The prices are moderate, €60 for 2 half liters of wine, 2 main courses, and 1 desert. My steak Au poive was the worst I've ever had, bad sauce, too much of it and Chewey steak ( at times tasted...
