I want to clarify that this is in reality a zero rating, not terrible experience. I cannot give 5 or 4 or 3 because never had the chance to dine there, so 1 is the closest to zero... Tried to dine there because of its incredible popularity due TA recommendation. No way to be accepted if not having reservations, a... More

This is one of the few non touristic restaurant in the heart of Kaysersberg. Dont expect fine dining and fancy dishes, but when it comes to good homey food made with fresh ingredients and excellent wine list, this is the place. The menu consist of some traditional dishes such as tarte flambee, spaetzle etc... I personally had the spaetzle with... More

The restaurant in the historical centre of Kaysensberg seems really commercialised, in any touristic town for that matter. We chanced upon this restaurant while walking around to look for dinner and it we are so glad we found this gem. Run by a husband and wife team, this restaurant offers quality cooking, fresh ingredients with a traditional Alsacien menu. For... More

We arrived a bit late in the pm and they were only serving Flambees, but they were excellent and the same price at any other restaurant! The service was also excellent as they stayed open a little later than usual for us. We overheard the 6 ladies at the table next to us saying that the Asparagus was delicious, they... More

The food was excellent we took a gourmet menu for the table of 4 . The peas soup with quail eggs was great as was the rest of the meal. The restaurant is small and cosy , best for small groups. The hostess was friendly but inflexible when we asked for more chutney no one of our meals. It was... More

From food to service to wine the restaurant was excellent. I had read the reviews and said to myself "really". But it did live up to the reviews. Thanks Trip Advisor guys.

While exploring the pretty town of Kaysersberg my wife and I decided to have Sunday lunch in this restaurant, having been influenced by very good reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. As temperatures reached the low 30s we sat outside in the shaded front garden and were served by a charming waitress dressed in traditional Alsace costume.Although the lunchtime menu was... More

My wife and I dined here for our anniversary. It would be fair to say it's not cheap to eat here however the food is excellent. we both had the fois gras starter which was excellent. For main I had the fillet steak, my wife had the lamb. Both were delicious. We had a bottle of the corns with dinner... More

Small restaurant. About 5 tables. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding. And the wine exceeded our expectations. Worth a special trip. A Reservation, due to size constraints, is mandatory.
